athletes come in all shapes and sizes.  My friend Paddy is one of the best athletes I have ever seen.  Paddy loves beer, and is a chef- he has a decent sized beer gut. He doesnt look like any atyhlete.  Ive seen Paddy skiing, and he was doing helicopters, and huge drop offs, just an amazing skier.  Ive seen Paddy do a back flip diving off a 40 foot cliff into a lake.  I saw Paddy drunk at a Christmas Party, make a 30 foot put down the hall, into a solo cup. Fat athletes are awesome

While he could be funny at times I was never David Wells's biggest fan but he had a really great career if you look at the numbers.

One can even argue he could belong in the Hall of Fame with him watered down it's gotten.

He wasn’t overweight when he started.  He was when he finished.  He could hit when he started.  He could hit when he finished.  The great Tony Gwynn.

What, no love for Olympic wrestling heavyweight champ Rulon Gardner? Pretty sure he's a Bills fan. Thought he attended a game after his upset of Aleksandr Karelin but couldn't find it on the world wide web so maybe not.

To those who chose the Babe, he wasn't overweight until later in his career. Actually stole home 10 times during his career. Here's an early photo.

Louie in Remember The Titans.

Great choice.  The actor Ethan Suplee has lost so much weight that he is unrecognizable.

He was great in "My Name is Earl".

The HR was great, but this is my favorite Bartolo moment. He's actually smirking as he's making the play.

He was at a Hunters Hope Charity Ball back in December, 2000. That weekend was also the Bills Dolphins game, which he was there.
