Draconator Posted January 12 Posted January 12 In the Chicago/Green Bay game, the Bears final TD was a fake bubble screen, then Williams threw it to a wide open DJ Moore for the score. Today, the exact same play was used by the Bills for the Kincaid TD. Brady either had that play deep in the playbook, or he put it in late last night or today before the game. Good play call and recognizing what would work. 7 Quote

Not the first time we ran it this year He runs it every 5 Weeks and it's been highly successful It does show he's willing to not overrun a play to get too much of it on tape weekly Edited January 12 by Buffalo716 1 1 1 Quote

Saint Doug Posted January 12 Posted January 12 As much as we hate on Brady, with Josh as QB, our offense is not the issue. Thank God for Cole Bishop for though. Kid is gonna be a gamer. 1 Quote
Fleezoid Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Hard to do the props. He threw multiple swing passes to Shakir and they were blown up in the first half. I will give him credit, because there was one in 2nd half that actually had blocking. But I don't get the first half play designs. 1 Quote

Be fair that's why it's a 60 minute game and some of those screens are setting up the touchdown to Kincaid later You lure them in... And then execute That's why they're professionals.. shakir was 12 for 12 That game plan with him was absolute perfection 3 1 Quote
L Ron Burgundy Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Plus for that play for sure. But a minus for the first half offense which was as vanilla as a preseason playbook. But we won idc. 1 Quote

But those plays were risking drives. Dangerous strategy. Quote
billsfan89 Posted January 12 Posted January 12 This was a well called game, I think Brady rightfully abandoned the run game and just let Josh chuck it. 1 Quote

Dangerous strategy. I understand that and it could be frustrating at times But I watched Tom Brady throw bubble screens on 3rd and 8th for 15 years Just so in the fourth quarter the entire playbook was open because they were building off of that... You have fake bubble screen screens the other way... You have fake bubble and go.. fake bubble and power quarterback run... You're keeping the defense guessing Edited January 12 by Buffalo716 2 1 Quote

I mean how did this high octane sh*t brickhouse Jags D that we all heard many talk about, the rare time and can probably count on one hand the times it's been successful out of the far too many times we've seen it all year.... somehow it worked against that killer Jags D. go figure lol 1 Quote

To be fair professional football is 100 years old Every play is basically on tape... Everybody has been stealing from everybody forever .. but when you're installing a game plan you might have 500 plays in your playbook but you're going to narrow it down to 70 or 100 potential play calls Quote

He also waters downs by running up the middle for short gains against a good run defense. We won in spite of Joe Brady. He sucks 2 Quote

They are an extension of the run game, so if they pick up 4-5 yards that's a win. He's gotten more out of them than that several times and took one to the house against the Saints. Probably not rational to be this angry about a blown call after a win 😂 I think that and the unnecessary roughness on hurts’ super late slide were the two worst made calls of the weekend granted there were some bad no calls 2 hours ago, finn said: A stopped clock... The ones today were very much the same vibe as low risk outside runs. I’m surprised we didn’t run them that spot downfield all year. At worst it was a 3 yard gain which kept us on schedule if you’re running outside with cook it could get blown up for a pretty big loss Edited January 12 by Generic_Bills_Fan Quote
