Not sure if Mickey Hart counts Both of the drummers (Mickey & Bill) are are still alive. Bill is the only original member that played on all the albums/tours that is still alive. 1 1 Quote

Bad Things Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Wow, I wasn't expecting to be reading about Bob Weir's passing today. That really sucks. God bless you and thank you, Bobby. R.I.P. I wonder how many people he's sung in front of all these years. 2 Quote

BringMetheHeadofLeonLett Posted January 12 Posted January 12 It took a bit because the god-like worship turned me off, but I came around to absolutely loving Garcia's work... whether with the band, solo work, or other collaborations. But Weir was always my man with The Dead. Cassidy, Black-Throated Wind... and just all the environment his presence on this planet has encompassed- I was just always attracted to what he brought. I literally couldn't even look at the news when I saw the headlines yesterday. I just felt heartsick I hate seeing the better parts of our existence leave us while we are left to deal with the power-hungry corroded-tooth-enamel of humanity. 1 1 1 Quote
BringMetheHeadofLeonLett Posted January 12 Posted January 12 You can start and end a Michael Bolton song with these notes, and it'll still be stunning 2 Quote
