NeverOutNick Posted January 9 Posted January 9 (edited) I still like Joe Brady but I hate the interview process during the playoffs especially when it’s a long shot he gets the gig. Just distracts him from the playoffs right in front of him well played Baltimore Edited January 9 by NeverOutNick 3 9 1 Quote
rajinka Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Great. We can't stop the screen. I can see next year's afcg ravens defeat is breaking record for most bubble screen yards ever. 12 1 Quote

(EDIT: Roundybout caught the error. Thanks to him.) * As for Brady, put him in a Waymo. 🤨 Edited January 9 by Ridgewaycynic2013 3 Quote
Xerx Posted January 9 Posted January 9 That's probably the best fit for him They already lots of heavy concepts with 2-3 TE and FB, this is what Brady excels at 1 1 Quote
Dablitzkrieg Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Why do people want Allen in a 3-5 step drop timing offense. That is an absolutely horrible for for him. 1 14 7 Quote

That wouldn’t necessarily be the offense. McDaniel developed the Miami offense around Tua’s limited physical talents. 1 1 6 1 Quote

boyst Posted January 9 Posted January 9 This would be Allen's 4th coordinator lost in 7 years. 1 Quote
Steptide Posted January 9 Posted January 9 People always seem to hate a coach getting interviewed in the middle of the playoffs. I see it a bit different. I actually think this could be a good thing. If you're a team looking at another teams coordinator, you're absolutely gonna be watching that team in the playoffs. If Brady wants a hc job, you better be at your best. I get that it's not the end all be all, but still. 6 3 Quote

But I’m laying off McD this playoffs unless he blows it. Healthiest his D has been going into any playoff and they’re playing well. If he does well on D and Brady does move on, I’d be fine with McDaniel as OC, he’s creative and McDermott established the culture so he just needs to scheme up and he’s got a good eye for talent. He was adamant with the GM on getting Achane and Washington in the 6th round. I don’t think he’d let Beane get away with not drafting weapons for him Quote

Just distracts him from the playoffs right in front of him well played Baltimore I don't understand why this is a thing. So you're saying he can't multi task? You're saying he will be using time he should spend prepping for the Jags thinking about interview questions? Most of these guys already have their pitch down. Especially for the first round of interviews. They come in, get asked a few things and share their philosophy. It's not that deep. 5 minutes ago, Psautcsk said: It is lame to have this happen at this time. Why? Do you believe Brady will stop prepping for the Jags and start preparing for an interview? People can focus on more than 1 thing. Plus there's really not much to prep for in an opening interview. I'm fairly certain Brady is at least somewhat familiar with the Ravens. 2 minutes ago, boyst said: This would be Allen's 4th coordinator lost in 7 years. Better than Baker Mayfield. 8 coordinators in 9 years. 3 Quote
