Sojourner Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Very surprising. Decent coach that has had success. Injuries and fluke losses have derailed their post seasons. Believe Kliff Kingsbury is going to be hired there asap for that position. 2 Quote

stlbills13 Posted January 6 Posted January 6 I think they needed to part ways but there will be a lucky team who ends up with him. Both sides needed a reset. 3 3 Quote

Captain Murica Posted January 6 Posted January 6 (edited) They needed a change. This should give some folks perspective that McDermott with all regular season accolades isn’t untouchable. He might be with Terry in charge but this league is a win now one. They have a 2x MVP and couldn’t even reach the SB. Now John Harbaugh he’s gone. When he’s on, we have the best player on the planet. We should’ve had multiple Super Bowl appearances by now. I will say it’s not all McDermott ‘s fault. I lean towards more Beane not being able to evaluate and surround our MVP with suitable weapons. I also know that McDermott can only cook with the ingredients he’s given, and he has shown in Carolina. He can have a really good defense when he has the correct players in place. By the way, congratulations to the Giants and their new head coach John Harbaugh. Edited January 6 by Captain Murica 12 4 1 Quote

wppete Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Tough move but the right move. He’s not an X’s and O’s coach. Just a CEO. They meed a creative Offensive Coordinator in there. Someone young tgat is an offensive guy. Kliff Kingbarry? 1 3 Quote
