I have been trying to find video of the when we used to use the jaws theme for kickoffs. It was in the early 90’s before we hade the charging Buffalos take over. Pre video scoreboard. Please post if anyone can find video.

thanks

go Bills.

I still think we should play “Wild Thing” when Josh comes out for first offensive possession…and get him some thick black glasses.

(God knows the glasses might help his field vision)

Talked to a few All-22 watchers over the holidays, they emphatically said that. He is not seeing the open guys.

Remember when he got a hit to the nose? I thought it was broken. Some lingering side effects could cause vision issues. Honestly I didn't think he was the same after that happened to him.

No videos I know, but I remember it well. Loved it. Wish we'd do it again.

We always advocate for the oldest songs. 🤣🤣 These dudes don’t care about that. We should be hyping them up not appeasing some 64 year-old WGR caller. I remember people complaining about Mr. Brightside being too new. That song was released 22 years ago. It’s older than Tremaine Edmunds!!  When they get to the new stadium I suspect a refresh of the music. I don’t think that’ll include more Classic Rock from the 60’s and 70’s.

Couldn’t find Bills ‘90’s Jaws theme, but found these ‘90’s gems…..and another reason for part of the curse.

The Jaws theme was really cool complete with 90,000 (seating capacity at that time) fans jesturing with their arms, a shark jaw opening and closing. Cool stuff.

When I was a kid and went to my first game they had that Mighty Taco theme. You know the one. "Mighty Taco, Mighty Taco, Mighty Taco...". I know you still hear it.

Anyways, being a kid, not the brightest and not being from Buffalo, I'd never heard of it. But I remember telling my Mom not long after when we were out shopping in Buffalo that I wanted "Mikey Taco" for lunch. Days before GPS and Google, she had to actually stop at a gas station and ask how to get to "Mikey Taco". I still remember the look on the guy's face.

I’m a musician and come from the era that produced all that wonderful music. BUT…I am over most of that overplayed ‘classic rock’ crap from the 60s-80s.
If I never hear Hotel California, Stairway to Heaven, or anything by Steve Miller again I’ll be fine with that.  When it was fresh and new it was exiting. Now, it’s like the Thanksgiving dinner sides, forgotten and rotting in the back of the fridge.
I’m sure the players, with an average birth year around 2000, can’t give less of a F about those worn out songs that grandpa has in his record collection. I sure don’t.
There’s a lot of fantastic music that’s come out more recently. Just have to dig a little since it’s probably not what’s being performed on awards shows.

It’s gonna be targeted to whomever is paying the bills.  Old dudes.

BTW, another one that just came up

as accompanying music on something I pulled up today…

Sweet Home Alabama.
Add that to the list of ‘never went to hear again…ever’.

It’s not anymore though. I’m 44 and there every week. I would almost guarantee that more than half of that stadium is younger than me. These are the same songs that they’ve been playing since I started going in the early 90’s. My dad’s guys aged out.

It’s based on the game presentation staff. That’s who drives it. It’s just lazy. They need to evolve as the crowd and players have.
