It's actually incredible that Georgia got an offensive play out of that. How stupid was that by Ole Miss to let them recover.

It never should have got to that point. The refs tried to upstage the entire playoff and make it about them.

Ole Miss needs to put #51 and #52 into a hyperbaric chamber and leave them both in there til next weekend.

A commercial break between all that would have been fitting.

This ridiculously extension of the end of the game is brought to you by McDonalds. Try the McRib now! (Some exclusions apply)

I thought the calls were correct at the end.

Great game.  Happy for Ole miss after that man child pulled his little stunt

Chambliss Mania this week for sure. He’ll steel some of the thunder from Mendoza amongst the talking heads.

I mean LSU is a big-time job

Nick's saban told him to leave.. it certainly was not an easy decision but you're getting a program that is typically in more National championship conversations

He did a great job at Ole Miss LSU is still a higher teir job and anybody in a profession who was offered a bigger pedigree job like that would be dumb not to take it

You only have that opportunity once

Not a big college guy, but I was born in Gary Indiana and grew up in Chicago … nobody even gave a thought to the Indiana football program so l’m Team Hoosiers all the way.

Amazing that this was Indiana's first bowl game since the Copper Bowl in 1989?

(I just posted this in the Bama thread but figured it should go here)

Bama got their asses kicked in historic fashion, but I still think they deserved to be in the CFP.  S-h-i-t happens (look at a couple of the Bills’ Super Bowls).  It turns out that either teams are a lot closer than we thought or the committee’s ranking system is whack, as the semifinals are the 1, 5, 6, and 10 seeds.

The nice thing about these matchups is that every team left has a good story or a reason to root for them.  Indiana came out of nowhere and took down the mighty Buckeyes in the B10.  Miami was criticized for even being there, then upset the 7 and 2 seeds.  Ole Miss had their coach leave them on the cusp of the playoffs.  And Oregon just goes about their business and made Texas Tech look silly.

I’m pulling for an Indiana/Ole Miss final, but I’ll really be fine with any matchup.

Dumb is the wrong word.  He jumped for greener pastures.  I’m sure he’s eagerly accepting any credit he’s being given for Ole Miss’ success.  Personally, I think he’s a dick and I’m rooting for huge failure in Baton Rouge, but he isn’t “dumb.”
