In case any of you slugs are lounging about with ferocious hangovers and want someplace to talk about some college ball.

Please don't turn it into an I hate McBeane thread. 🙏

Man, Miami has some dudes. #8, #10, #12.. HITTERS! Sayin looks slow footed. Jeremiah Smith is ridiculous as a pro prospect. If Harrison and Nabers went were they did in the draft, how can any team pass up on Smith..?

Sayin is a Freshman so I don’t think they’re as bad as it was. Made the urgency of getting the ball to Jeremiah Smith a little too late imo.

Smith is a top 5 pick at the rate he’s going. Easily.

We’ll see how next year goes before he’s eligible.

Wonder if Ryan Day’s seat is a tad warm…

He's certainly right on track to win the Bill Cowher Lifetime Underachiever Award.

He’s simply lost too many games for the level of talent he’s had to work with…

Last night the SkyCast was on ESPNU. For the Orange Bowl it’s ESPN2. This is the way. No announcers as well, even if they’re good broadcasters no broadcasters keeps you away from agenda driven storylines.

Getting back to my love affair with The U, I like #73 on the oline. Seems like coordinated skill in a big body. Like the way he carries his arms and hands around. He’s not a rigid huge blob mass of a kid.

As a Penn State alum, I've never been a fan of Ryan Day.  You do have to respect Ohio State and the immense talent they have.  I rooted for all the Big 10 teams in the bowl games, except Ohio State because of Day.

Well, my Buckeyes were outplayed by the Hurricanes last night. Still, I look forward to the rest of the playoff. As I mentioned in the Bills /Jets thread it’s interesting that bye week teams were 0-5 going into today. I know the layoff was longer , and it’s College ball etc. Still gives food for thought .

Love the Buckeyes , but have never been that impressed by Day. Sadly, that continues.

I hate listening to Joe Tessitore call a game. Shouts at every little thing. But not in an endearing Gus Johnson sort of way. Just terrible.

A couple times Palmer tried to reel him in when he went off.

The same can be said for Marv Levy too

Outplayed in the first half, but moreso outcoached IMO.  Confused OSU's O-line for sure.  Good learning experience for Sayin, I don't think he's seen that rapid, consistent pressure all season and he struggled to handle it.  But minimal adjustments by the coaches, I thought they might roll him out more.  OSU captured some momentum in the second half, then Miami took it back.

Cristobal and his staff did a great job making multiple adjustments.
