Einstein's Dog Posted December 31, 2025 Posted December 31, 2025 Thinking about coming up for the game from FL. Was hoping to get thoughts on Pricing - how much should I expect to pay for a ticket? Last night I saw on Ticketmaster about $135, now $128 for seats with a full field view (section 312/334). Still seems too high for me. I remember the playoff game against New England a few years back and tickets went dirt cheap then (<$20). I know some might think that the last game at Highmark might raise them a bit, but that seems like it would be offset by a limited outing by Josh. In terms of timing, many threads in the recent past have said wait to game day - did that work? I tried that strategy this year for the preseason Tampa game and the prices never hit rock bottom. But for this game temps look to be in the 20s and an afternoon start which are not ideal. Is $50 a reasonable estimate? Also, do they run any buses to the game from Buff/Niagara Falls? Any type of mass transit so we don't have to drive? I've never seen it or done it, but seems like it should exist. TIA - Happy New Year!! Quote

Just my two cents and of course, it doesn't work for everyone. But if you're coming up from Florida for the experience, why leave tickets up in the air? I'd bite the bullet for the assurance you have tickets in your pocket so that's one less thing to worry about. Saving an extra $70-80 isn't worth it IMO. Not for a once in a lifetime experience. I actually think prices will go er around what they are now because a lot of people are looking for tickets this week for the "one last time" experience. Either way, safe travels, my friend. Hope you have a blast, are loud and #Go Bills 2 4 1 Quote
BillsPride12 Posted December 31, 2025 Posted December 31, 2025 I feel like this is a very unique situation and hard to gage what fair market value would be for this game with it essentially being a meaningless game with backups playing yet the final game at the stadium at the same time. Very interesting scenario 2 Quote

I rank this slightly above a pre-season game, yet an excuse for an avid Bills fan to do a getaway back to Upstate NY. If it's too much I would just spend the extra $70-80 at the casino while being with friends. I think it's just multi-year season ticket holders (and media hype) that see the closure as some kind of special event. I don't think the general population will buy the hype, and prices will drop significantly. 2 Quote
Augie Posted December 31, 2025 Posted December 31, 2025 My first choice was a downtown stadium, largely because they are easier to get to. That didn’t work out, but some kind of mass transportation options to OP would take some of the sting out of it. I’ve heard of buses that will get you there, but I’ve never seen it or known anyone who does it on a regular basis. It seems like a missed (or at least underutilized) opportunity. 1 2 Quote
Sojourner Posted December 31, 2025 Posted December 31, 2025 Wow. The Tickets nosedived the minute we lost against Philly I guess, which makes sense. They were around $210 before that game for the nosebleeds. Don’t think they drop under $100 until game day imo. Purely because it’s the last ever game there. Bummed because we paid around $320 for a pair a few weeks back. Quote
MarkyMannn Posted December 31, 2025 Posted December 31, 2025 Not a very attractive opponent regardless of last game there. A LOT of tickets available which has driven prices down, plus the weather. Earlier in the year 312 tix were $350 from front row to row 10. And yes it makes sense that prices drop as the game gets closer. I've never seen it happen, for a GOOD game. People either decide to go or eat the tix. Again Jets and weather and the many tix out there might drive it down Quote

There even appears to be an option from NF which I was unaware of. 2 Quote

I have taken the NFTA buses to Bills games with My Father over the years Super cheap, super convenient.. easy access in and out of the stadium and we've even gotten police escorts on the Thruway Edited January 2 by Buffalo716 1 1 Quote

zow2 Posted January 2 Posted January 2 I paid nearly $400/ticket for the Saints game earlier this year for LL corners. I think the prices this week are very reasonable. It's not outrageous, and it's a historical event. Yes the opponent stinks and the Bills "B" team will be out there, but again it's history and a game you'd never forget. Quote
boyst Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Weather will be a factor. Wait until Saturday night if you can emotionally risk it. You'll get tickets no matter what since so many are available. But you can get a great bargain Saturday. 1 1 Quote
Einstein's Dog Posted January 2 Author Posted January 2 Just checked, ticket prices are refusing to drop. Ridiculous. Still over $120 for seats in section 311. It's practically a preseason game, in 20 degree weather, in an old stadium that's being replaced. Clearly collusion amongst the delusional, sentimental season ticket holders (okay, so I'm a little bitter). According to Google AI, the prices for a Jax wildcard game should run about $150-$300. That seems reasonable. Quote

My ST are in 310, and in the Josh Allen era I am not sure I have ever seen the resale drop below $100 ea. (Maybe a couple of one offs) I consider myself a pretty good deal finder for tickets, Lowest price tends to be about 48 hours before kickoff. Once you get inside they tend to start to creep back up to take advantage of the people who waited too long but have already committed to the game. So you are sort of in the cheap window. You may see a dip, but TM, Stubhub, etc. aren't cutting tickets in half just before kickoff unless there is some crazy weather or something. You might save $30 per ticket by waiting. But you might not. Edit: Honestly, if the $50 is the deal breaker between coming up from FL and staying home, staying is probably the prudent choice regardless. Edited January 2 by Mango 1 1 Quote
SoCal Deek Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Couldn’t agree more with the sentiments expressed here. I went back for the last preseason game, which was HOT, HUMID, and meaningless. The price of the game ticket didn’t even register on my recap of the cost of the weekend. And for what it’s worth, I’ll take the cold weather over sitting there in the August sweltering heat every time. 1 Quote

I think the problem is a lot of people bought when they thought it would be a semi-mattering game, that the Bills would cruise through, with some type of seeding at stake - a reasonable take IMO. But now we're just left w a sentimental, nostalgic oversell angle. And what were prices like for the New England playoff game? Weren't tickets dirt cheap for that one? Quote

JP51 Posted January 2 Posted January 2 So just my thoughts... last regular season game ever (likely last ever) at this stadium played by backups is gonna probably command more than a WC game... 1 Quote
