Per ESPN/Multiple sources, right after they gave him a pretty big contract.

The Dallas Cowboys are walking away from a player who once looked like the future of the franchise. The team reportedly released cornerback Trevon Diggs on Tuesday, according to ESPN's Todd Archer.

The move comes just two years after the team signed Diggs to a five-year, $97 million extension.

The Cowboys have released cornerback Trevon Diggs. He goes through the waiver process and if unclaimed, he will be a free agent.

I hope he goes to New England and him and his brother get in a fight on the sidelines and the comet hits that place and somehow debris goes astray over to Ann arbor and wipes out that place too and then hits Tom Brady's house and destroys that and everything I don't like in this world is destroyed because of this guy.

Fair play to Schotty Jnr he actually seems to want to tackle the culture in Dallas. They have been a more buttoned up team this year than under McCarthy or Garrett. They just don't have a ton of talent.

And Jerry will only remake the circus in all likelihood.

Why dis they do it? I haven’t watch much of the cowboys this year? Whats the problem?

The Cowboys secondary is historically awful this year. He is not a good player at this point.

Yeah, but I'd sort of feel bad for the comet.

I would claim Diggs then tell him not to report just so another playoff team can’t put him on their roster.

No one is claiming that contract off of waivers. He'll be a FA.

Same time these hit public news wire too.  With 1 game left in the season?  Yeahhhhhhhh these are  99.8% going to be related, even if we never hear about it

Yeah, well I hope a flaming buckeye gets lodged in your rectum... 🤔... for clarification, I meant the nut-like seed, not the chocolate peanut butter cookie... and not any other interpretation that one could derive from that.
