Outscored them really, and would have beat them if wasn't for those meddling special teams. 

 

I'm a lot more confident about the playoffs. D's play recognition was v good. Milano looking at his best

 

We got pretty lucky on the catches, though. I would be happier if some of those were cleaner. 

 

Can we rest players now? If so, likely just one more game at Highmark. But we're decent on the road and are quite well positioned this postseason

It was the right decision being the second to last game of the season and a playoff spot locked up imo. I don’t think you wanna play extra football in bad weather at this point

Hey, at least we get to look forward to Tyler Bass coming back some day? Can’t remember such a messy kicker situation, for any team. Nearly perfect timing for it!

 

Also that 3-play Ty Johnson sequence late in the game should be a nearly fireable offense even if it did work. Was like high school desperation

I actually agree with you , but I think it shows their lack of faith in Badgley. Why is he here is that is the case? He’s missed two XPs in two weeks and missed the landing zone on a kickoff already. I mean if we don’t get the first one blocked we are kicking to win the game with 5 ticks left

That was on Allen. Poor decision making cost the game. Had open receivers for tds and decided to run and get stopped short, running around taking team out of FG range, the fumble, and the poor throw on 2pt. 
 

The last game at highmark better be treated like a preseason game

I've never been a moral victory guy, but all things considered....I probably feel better now about our chances to win it all after that one than I did before the game kicked off.
