they need to keep some help back there for them. Max protect. Move the pocket too. Etc.

I'd agree but that one play Torrence looked like one of those yellow poles at a Walmart.  Literally a stump in the ground and his guy just ran right by him.

They know they have a January road gauntlet coming up and they are saving their energy and focus for it.  I can kind of relate. But they are checked out if this game (and I actually think the defense has held up well but I fully expect dam to break).

looked like the dam broke that last drive

Unpopular take, the D wasn't *that* bad.  13 points, with the O fumbling and laying eggs all half.

Sure. The problem is that we've spent the vast majority of our draft and FA resources on the defense these past two years. So coming away from that strategy saying "hey they weren't too bad today" represents a major failure of teambuilding. The offense sucks because they fill it with scraps. All of the resources spent plus a defensive minded head coach means we should have a shutdown defense... But the expectations have gotten so low for them.

We just can't drop back and pass

Can't get open, Josh not finding guys, guys dropping balls, and garbage protection.

We have to get the run game and play action stuff going

Yes, throw to the running backs

And some folks in here actually like our chances against the Eagles in the Super Bowl!🥴 I prefer the Rams far more than the Eagles. The Eagles are very physical upfront and our line and Josh doesn’t respond well to physical lineman. And say what you want about Coleman, but our receiving corps is not good enough to be benching him!!!! What happened to our scoring aggressive offense from last year? It’s like we’re trying to play this imaginary game of super balance.

The Rams are the best team in the NFL. Stafford is having a career year. They are stacked allover. A very dangerous matchup and the last team i’d want Buffalo to play.

Josh is not as reactive as he usually is to pressure, think the foot may have him at less than top form.

Seeding perhaps desirable rather than crucial. Dunno - nobody likes being behind. But something feels ok to me here. Even throwing a few long passes for once. Feels like it doesn't take much for all this to come together. But I could be giving too much credit.

If the Oline can find a way to play to its typical level, this game could absolutely turn around.
