Special K Posted December 22, 2025 Posted December 22, 2025 We all know the Bills have obvious flaws....we can all see them......but every contending team has flaws, injuries, etc. that keep them from being dominant....no different than the Bills. This might be one of the most wide-open seasons we have seen in a while. There is no dominant team....in fact there are at least 8 to 10 teams that could win the Super Bowl, and no one would be surprised if they did.....the Bills are one of those teams. Of course we all want the Bills to play perfect, but they are not perfect......thankfully, this looks like the season you won't have to play perfect football to make it to and win the Super Bowl. The Bills do have Josh Allen, James Cook, and a great O-line.....enough to make a serious Super Bowl run in a year like this. Let's all save the criticism for the off season, and enjoy the fact that the team is on the verge of putting everything together to make a run that hopefully lasts all the way to February!! Go Bills!!! 8 1 4 20 17 Quote

Generic_Bills_Fan Posted December 22, 2025 Posted December 22, 2025 (edited) This is a funny year I feel like every fanbase is mostly negative thinking they won’t win it right now but someone has to 😂. Seems like every team that’s about to ascend to ‘superbowl favorite’ immediately loses lol Edited December 22, 2025 by Generic_Bills_Fan 1 2 Quote

dhgold Posted December 22, 2025 Posted December 22, 2025 The Bills have simply not played consistently well this year. The defense has been regularly feeble. The passing game often is AWOL. The only game where I felt comfortable from start to finish that the Bills would win was against the Jets in week two. The loses to the Dolphins and Falcons were atrocious The team's regualr season success in the Josh Allen era has raised expectations to for the team to legitimately contend for the Super Bowl. Far more often than not this season I've thought "this is not a Super Bowl caliber team." 4 3 3 Quote

Go Bills!!! Because we see the flaws and the flaws are really bad. It's compounded by the fact that these flaws were things most of us saw in the off-season and we had questions about how they addressed them. When we see those things now crop up and be super impactful it's hard to maintain a positive mindset. This defense sucks. When is the last time a team with this bad a defense made a super bowl let alone won one? I won't even get into the WR group. 4 1 3 2 Quote
SoCal Deek Posted December 22, 2025 Posted December 22, 2025 Because for some of us this isn’t our first season, or decade, or even half century following this team. Is it too much to ask that this organization take the team to the promised land? I think not! Just once before I die….dammit! 6 5 4 4 Quote

BillsVet Posted December 22, 2025 Posted December 22, 2025 (edited) The Ottoman's haven't reached Constantinople yet...all is fine. The Huns haven't reached Rome yet...all is fine. Dien Bien Phu hasn't been over-taken yet...all is fine. It's OK to assess that even though all isn't lost...there are cracks in the walls. And it's fair game to talk about them. Because...Buffalo let Cleveland, they of the now 3-12 variety, to remain in it to the end of the 4th quarter. That begs the question: How you gonna handle the inevitable playoff road game? But it hasn't happened yet...ergo, we're good. Not quite. Edited December 22, 2025 by BillsVet 3 3 Quote
Shortchaz Posted December 22, 2025 Posted December 22, 2025 Probably related to expectations. personally, I felt this was the year the defense had a chance to take a big step forward but that hasn’t happened. Put a lot of capital into that side of the ball and I expected better (especially from the front 7). Quote
Pete Posted December 22, 2025 Posted December 22, 2025 Often, especially pre Pats and Chiefs, it was a surprise Super Bowl winner. No one picked Giants to win the Super Bowl. This years Super Bowl Champion could very well be the Bills. They are battled tested. And they are resilient. Bills can go toe to toe with any team. They can take a beating, pick themselves up, and put any opponent into submission. JJ Watt said when Josh goes into Superman mode, Bills are going to win. Josh has his best game against the best opponents in the biggest games. We have Josh, so we always have a good chance! Josh brings great JuJu to Buffalo! Hallmark Film, Hard Knocks, final season at Highmark. A good portion of every fan base is rooting for the Bills. Even the Sabres have won 6 in a row! As wonky the rush D and WRs can be, the Bills just win. Teams give Buffalo their best shot. Buffalo prevails, most, most often. I believe the Bills are 20-4 the last 5 Decembers. This is the time the Bills, and Josh take into another level. Playoff Josh is Lethal. Why not us? LFG! GO BILLS! 7 3 1 Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted December 22, 2025 Posted December 22, 2025 It's a mix of things. First off, most weeks they are super boring to watch for two and a half hours. And a very frustrating watch at that. Second, we know there are obvious major flaws on this team. It's taken some superhero antics from Josh and a career year from Cook to cover that up. And we know that winning this way will not be sustainable. Next year, Cook isn't probably going to too what he has done this year and Josh will be another year older. I would like to think this is the off-season they go all in on upgrades to the WR room, the pass rush, depth ..but I don't think many trust Beane to do it. This year is kind of a "boiling point" year for a lot of folks. Being slapped out of the playoffs by KC so often, losing at home in the playoffs to Cincinnati, having the Ravens be competitive.....and now with them all floundering it SHOULD be our year. Our turn. But we haven't been able to enjoy being in second place in our own division all year. They could still win the whole thing. And many wouldn't be enjoying the ride. 6 1 Quote
