Yeah thats assault and interesting if NFL doesnt suspend him for 2nd half immediately.

 

If a fan punches a player, that fan would get a police/security escort out and never be allowed to attend that stadium again.

 

Gonna be a suspension at least, but not sure why they wouldn't enforce immediately.

I'm not sure they have a SOP to rely on.

Yeah I looked at that again he definitely took a shot at that fan at the end of that video.  It’ll cost him a game and some cash.  What an idiot.

I'm sure NFLPA has some stuff in but the Steelers should get ahead of this and do it themselves. The team can surely do it.

If that dude was smart (which he clearly is not), he would have dropped like a sack of potatoes and made sure to smack his brow on the railing.

Agree - I think thats the issue.

 

But players, for on field behaviour/acts, have been of course been booted from games.

 

Not a a good look on league.  Throw a punch at player on field, get tossed. 

 

Throw a punch at fan in stands, continue to play.

I just don't understand how you think that's an option available to you. Is whatever that guy said worth potentially ruining your career or even having to go to court? You're worth hundreds of millions of dollars, and that guy is waking up to go work some ***** job tomorrow. How can someone get to you that easy?
