Yeah, Ive heard more Ewers talk than Wilson. Will be interesting to see which way they go.

 

I dont think any of this will be enough to save McDaniel but he has no other choice at this point.

 

Tua has gone from his normal mediocre play to downright horrible the last 2 weeks.

I think McDaniel is a much better OC than HC and I want him there as long as possible. The speed (or lack thereof) in which they moved in the 4th quarter even after scoring a TD, moving the ball, etc is fireable. 100%

 

McDaniel can't help the fact that Tua has zero desire or fight in him. Laughing on the sidelines down 2 scores while getting the ball back is............. gross

Didn't his $250M contract kick in?  What a mess there, but yeah Tua looked horrible.  My suggestion last night was for Miami to be the first team to have 2 QB starters.  Tua would get the starts during Miami home games where the weather is nice.  Someone else would be the starter for road games when the weather turns.

I may be wrong about this, but I don't think Tua has won a game when the temps drop below 40. Being in the AFCE makes this a problem since NY, NJ, and MA along with other east coast places get cold late in the year.

It did, and it looks like the new HC next year is stuck with him for 1 more year. Even if they did a June 1 cut, they would eat $45M in dead cap each of the next two years.

 

Easy out in 2027 tho.

I did love that final drive of the dolphins, where they started around their own 10 needing 2 scores and it looked like Trent Edwards QB-ing a preseason game.

Team is eliminated they put up a valiant fight to win a few games in a row (probably saving McDaniels job or at least possibly saving it) but it makes all the sense in the world to bench an injury prone QB for effectively an extra long offseason with a few extra weeks rest.

It's hilarious to see the 2 post game press conferences of McDaniel and Tomlin. McDaniel is a total doofus and I don't know why anyone would want to play for him. Tomlin on the other hand really makes you feel just the opposite.

Saying “everything is on the table” is just coach speak meaning ‘yeah we are doing our jobs and evaluating all aspects of this team’.   It means nothing.
