He's a kicker house lol

This the perfect example of why grammar is important.  I read this post and was mystified by it:  What the hell is a  "kicker house"?   Then I read a post addressed to @House, OP, and realized @Buffalo716 meant, "He's a kicker, house.  LOL."

What a bizarre resume Badgley has: Great kicker? Mediocre? terrible? Injured? healthy? You never know what you gonna get!

I remember back in his early years when his clutch FG kicking earned him the nickname, "Money Badger".  Unfortunately, as with most kickers (and other players), that clutch play didn't last.

Look, this guy just has to kick a few FG's over a game or 2.  Let's keep those attempts close.

Maybe we can get lucky and Badgley can recapture his early form for a few games.

Which. I would argue. Don’t pay big money long term deals for these guys…unless you have the very best one.

Easier said than done, I think.  Kickers tend to be streaky and/or easily rattled, and sometimes that kicker who looks like "the very best one" for an entire season or more can suddenly become very unreliable.

I thought this was an example that Badgley is a house kicker.  Someone who goes from team to team as a fill-in as needed.   Teams have no allegiance to him,,,,and he has no allegiance to any team.

The team announced on Tuesday that they had signed veteran kicker Michael Badgley to the practice squad. To make room for Badgley, Buffalo released cornerback M.J. Devonshire. Badgley, 30, was one of two kickers that the team worked out on Tuesday. His competition for the spot on the practice squad was Matthew Wright.
