He was pointing out that it was an issue for the bills and even that wasn’t consistently called in that game.

As for the other one it’s called replay over and over again it was picked off and he didn’t catch it but fixated on that because it went for the Bills when I have a clear one against my team to show the refs had been inconsistent..

After 20+ years of "just give it to them", the Tuck Rule, erasing tapes, etc, etc, and just blatant favoritism in every game... The Pats and their fans dont get to say anything about refs ever. Just sit there and take it.

I know none of you were pointing out all those inconsistencies through all those years. We dont want to hear it now.

The reality is that we're the league darlings now. With no KC and possibly no Baltimore we are getting every call like KC used to.

I’m starting to understand why the Titans fired Vrabel.  He might be a good football coach, but he’s an insufferable person, and at some point, people just get tired of it…

e.g.

Talking about McDermott speaking about refs is funny.  He doesn't ever make excuses, he just doesn't go there.  Vrabel being from the era of the refs being in the back pocket of the Pats may be he lives with a guilty conscience from Spygate and thinks everyone can influence the refs.

When you have an all timer like Allen at QB you're going to suddenly start getting all the calls..

roughing the passer, DPI, illegal contact, not seeing OL holding...

I'm all for it. Cosmic balance, since the refs cost us a SB berth last season with BS spots

The ball spots in the AFC championship game last year was some of the most bizarre things I've seen.

It genuinely doesn’t feel like we get many calls to me lol. I think we only got some in this one to even out their seemingly unfair use of replay assist

This is one of the more ridiculous moments I can remember from an NFL coach:

Lost a lot of respect for Vrabel with this. The day after a loss he is pointing the finger at the officials instead of at himself and his team for blowing a 21 point lead. And these weren't even particularly controversial calls.

I thought there were some big calls or non-calls in the game, but I thought the gaffes were pretty evenly spread affecting both teams.

I don't think that 30 yd pass to Kayshaun Boutte was a completion.  Big momentum swing.

I thought the player who punched Matt Milano in the face should have been ejected

I'm not sure the 37 yd pass to Shakir was a catch, but I think that was pretty flagrant DPI so it's either a catch or a penalty.  Again, big momentum swing.
Then there's the ball spot change by replay assist - Wat?

One reason the Bills lead the league in offensive holds because Kromer teaches a very effective Swipe technique that is legal, and when refs see a guy on the turf they figure he got pulled down and they should throw laundry.

There was a massive hold that lead to a TD run too. Don’t hear him crying about that one either.

Didn't hear him crying about the bad "replay assist" ball re-spot or the Boutte non-catch on the 1st Pats drive, either.

After the UTEP study that came out last summer I'm not convinced the league is on the level. We can at least prove the refs have been biased towards KC beyond anything that could be explained by statistical randomness. And the profit motive is there too as KC games draw tons of viewers and thus revenue for the league.

That said, if the league wants to prove to everyone it is on the level, it needs to drastically improve officiating bigly and badly.

The bias the UTEP study revealed should disgust every NFL fan, including Chiefs fans. And then to get away with it! No apology, no rebuttal, no investigation or journalistic follow-up. To top it off, I've never heard or heard about any commentator or pundit adding that caveat when they've busy glazing Mahomes or the Chiefs. It's never, "They're terrific, but of course you have to consider they had a lot of help" or "Mahomes too them to the Super Bowl five times, but how many would they managed without the connivance of the league? Two? One?" The games are often so close that it takes just one or two biased calls to flip what would have been the result. Infuriating. I wonder which lucrative market team the league will prop up next.

Allen could give his wife acting lessons on a few of those RTP calls.

I also lost all respect for this guy. I thought he was a great coach but hes actually a loser after hearing about his ongoing bitching. I also read two articles from two New England Patriots Sports Reporters. In my opinion they must be the most corrupt reporters on the face of the earth.

On the Coleman interference they used a screen shot picture that didnt have the player tugging on Colemans jersey. Even Josh Allen could see the holding. It wasnt minor as the tug in my opinion watching it on replay held Colemans progress to the ball. Hes the story link

https://985thesportshub.com/2025/12/14/youve-got-to-let-us-play-patriots-sound-off-on-controversial-penalties/

In that same link they also complained about the Khalil Shakir interference. Same exact penalty was called against Buffalo versus the Chiefs in last years Championship game. One reporter wrote that the flag "came out late" The hell it did as on replay the flag came out while the ball was still in the air as the defensive back, ran into Shakir. It wasnt even close in my opinion.

So I read two stories that go on as the facts to remain in the public arena forever as gospel truth as it happened. Well both were not written as an opinion piece, they were an absolute  misrepresentation of the facts and as to what happened.

I never realized that the Sports reporters in New England were that corrupted. Then again the Patriots never cheat.

Well, birds of a feather flock together.

No mention of the hold on their 2nd half misdirection run for a touchdown. I saw one of our D linemen jersey held around the stomach as he was right near the runner before the runner did a 180.

Yea, I saw that too. Yet the referee behind the quaterback didnt see that?  FIXXXXED
