Lmao if you think that was the worst SB ever you haven’t watched many SB there was like a decade where the score was like 48-13 type beat downs. It wasn’t a good showing by the Pats O by any means, but unlike Bills fans I’ll place the blame where it belongs on the O not the D “because they gave up 29 points.” Logic. Also unlike the Bills this was year 1 of a rebuild.. we have our QB, a true shutdown corner, a very good D line…. So I like my team moving forward.  Also I’ve been away since Monday for business left at 3 AM Monday donI wasn’t avoiding here.. and if you thought what I was saying was trolling, you need thicker skin because unlike this post I always try never to knock the Bills fans or the Bills.

I dunno man... Maye ranged from barely passable to awful throughout the entirety of the playoffs. Looked exposed for a stretch of 4 games.

Watch out for the losing team Super Bowl hangover next year.

Won't surprise me if the Pats miss the playoffs.

The only reason this game wasn’t 60-3 is because Darnold was missing quite a few open throws.

Put a top 10 QB on the Seahawks and that game is an absolutely obliteration.

Wide open JSN TD on an easy throw.

My Gutt says he was playing injured all playoffs, but also the o line was the bigger issue they were awful all 4 games as well. For example in the SB Wilson (LG) was pushed right into Maye and the Seattle defender was able grab Maye and Wilson looked like a child blocking a full grown man.. I’m giving Campbell a pass playing on torn ligaments but he will be tested next year so we will see quickly if he’s a true LT or a LG..

Maye needs be protected better when in the playoffs, no QB will do well constantly harassed what he needs to fix is fumbling the dang ball.. strip sacks are an issue for him.

“The Schedule” will have a tougher time next year. He peaked early and we will see a Mac Jones next 3 years. Good too see you finally back here so we can tell you I told you so.

There were definitely instances of protection issues.  He also created some himself, and probably left some rushing yards on the field at times.  He was also just... off.  He missed a lot of throws, some down field some to the sidelines, and just too many misses in general which put you in 2nd and 3rd and long situations.

Work trip with garbage Internet connection since Monday just got home.. I disagree, and also Jones is a hot commodity right now 😂.. but we will see I have seen more from Maye in 1 full year than I ever have in Jones and that includes this year.

Absolutely! He made stupid young QB mistakes which he is at 23 and 2nd year. I am not going throw out 17 games because he was rocked by 4 top 5 defenses in the NFL.  I am hoping it’s a learning experience and he comes back and improves next year.

Maye will be be a star for a long time.   The future is bright in NE. You have a great 49 year old OC that no one will ever want to be a HC and you have a very good/great HC.  Be happy about it (I’m sure you are).

Maye sucked for the entirety of the playoffs.  He’ll be better in the future.  Your schedule this season is the reason you made the SB.  With a tougher schedule, you would’ve had a different and more difficult road in the playoffs.  It wasn’t a Super Bowl caliber team this season and it showed in the SB.

Me, too. I have nothing against the guy and wish him well. Seems like a decent human being.

At some point this thread has become us trying to feel better  about the Bills not making the Super Bowl. Got to let it go and move on.

It would have been awesome if we made it and got blown out while JA played horribly. This place would be so much happier.

There's a new narrative about Josh Allen that I'm seeing mostly on social media, and being pushed by Lamar fans.  It's that Allen's playoff numbers are completely fluffed up because he's a Wildcard merchant. LOL.   Let's forget the fact he's been to the AFC Championship twice and has beaten Lamar twice on the way.

I think we would have beaten Seattle.

That's the biggest difference between Maye and Allen.  Maye turns it over 3x, and the game is over.  Allen did the same (I'm not counting the 4th, since it was a reception), and Denver needed PI in OT to beat us.

Seattle would have scored more on our D, but we would have scored way more than that overrated Pats team.

Wrong topic.

This belongs in the "Debate Over: Lamar Jackson can’t hold Josh Allen’s jockstrap" topic.

😀

This topic is OLD. A NEW topic should be started unless there is a very specific reason to revive this one.
