ganesh Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Look at who is at the top of the leaderboard in Fumbles while rushing the football !!! Player. Rush Yds Att. TD. FUM James Cook. 1308. 249. 8. 6 Josh Allen. 487. 87. 12. 5 Go Bills !!! 1 2 6 1 1 Quote
The Wiz Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago (edited) And look who the top 11 players are for rushing TDs: Apparently there is a correlation between the player having the ball and the possibility of said player fumbling the ball. Also, Tua leads the league in fumbles for rushers (according to ESPN). I don't make the rules. Edited 20 hours ago by The Wiz 3 Quote
Pecker Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Wait - is Josh Allen really third in the league for rushing TD 🤣 3 2 Quote

GunnerBill Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago I'm not worried yet. The two fumbles on Sunday - the one on the goalline run is frustrating more than anything but it wasn't like Cook did anything wrong there really. He had the ball well pinned, in the correct arm, a defender just got in there and made a good play. The one on the pass play he was trying to score, a bit careless but he has scored big touchdowns for us in the past when a lot of guys would be down at the 1 or the 2. You take the rough with the smooth.... and actually but for a hold it would have put as down at the 1, because he fumbled oob. There is a bit reversion to the mean on the Bills fumbles as well, most of us said pre-season they are not going to have historic low turnover numbers again. 2 1 Quote

I think people are overrating it because Greg Olson and what’s his name spent about 25 minutes harping on the one that was overturned. You could tell they were absolutely certain it was gonna be a touchback and they had the scoop. Once it was clear that the ball was out of bounds, they were already so dialed in to their narrative that they couldn’t shut up about it. Also didn’t help that what’s his face claimed that Cook reached for the goal line on the second one (he didn’t, as you described above). Quote
