I wonder if they regret those 2 first rounders for sauce Gardner lol

It was a calculated bet that what they saw out of Daniel Jones wasn't a mirage.  His play faded a little but I argued at the time of the trade it was a bad move because of the injury history with him.

You guys make fun of Rivers? Dude absolutely killed us every time he played us. I want no part of him.

Any game on the road in the state of CA for the drought Bills was always a bloodbath, especially in San Deigo.

I get why people are ripping on this, but it’s December, the Colts are in a wild card spot, and the guys available are extremely slim

Sam Ehliger?
Taylor Heinike?

Tannehill said in November he was done, I doubt that changed a month later

There isn’t a good option. Maybe Rivers provides enough stability that they win games with their running game and defense. I get it’s crazy, but who is available at this point that can be even remotely good for a few weeks?

Honest question - would Rivers be the first grandfather to play in the NFL?

I had to scroll through the thread first to see if anyone mentioned George Blanda.

I did some research, though, and his two grandsons are in their 30s, meaning they were born well after Blanda retired in 1976.

He sure LOOKED like a grandfather, though.

Makes the Colts interesting anyway

I would think hes going to start if he comes in, otherwise what's the point?

The guy hasn't played since 2020, so I doubt he just wants to practice and watch that offense from the sidelines

Well at least the Colts can try to draft a QB this year, wait, I mean 2027 draft, wait, I mean 2028 draft. But at least they have a DB.

I think the irsay gal is calling a lot of the shots. While she seems well intentioned, she's making some bad calls. I think she learned from her dad and is putting a lot of pressure on management and micromanaging. And I mean the sauce Gardener trade was terrible.

Does it make me a bad person that I really want to make a Jim Irsay/Sauce joke, or a good person that I’m fighting like hell with myself not to?

That man's family tree already has more branches than the British monarchy

With just the slightest risk of that olde English tradition of the DNA double dip
