No, they've been doing that for a while to shorten games (and fit more commercials in).

It does stop in the last 5:00 of the game. (and maybe the last 5:00 of the half?)

I don't think it's new. The clock stops when a runner goes out of bounds when it's under 5:00 minutes at the end of each half.

Eagles aren’t matching the Chargers intensity at all.  Their Oline does not seem as good at pass protection this year.

Hurts is just not elite. He has a ring so props to him but the team and defense around him

last season was great.

It didn’t look like the ball hit the turf. More like hit his hand and bounced up into the crook of his arm. Close either way but didn’t look obvious for the expedited review to change the call.

I thought it was before the first half also a few years back, but it's actually just the last 5 minutes of the game which was surprising to me
