I was wrong. A tie is as good as a win for LA. If they tie or win this game they need to win 2 more games and they keep KC out no matter what, even if KC beats them.

I'd take the ball and grind out an 8:30 drive leaving the opposition with not enough time to score.

I'd also always go for 2 at this point in the season. You need wins. A tie is a loss anyway.

What IF, the first team to possess the ball takes the whole 10 minutes to go down the field and kicks a field goal with time expiring, does the other team get one kickoff return with 0 seconds on the clock?

Yeah it actually depends. If LA loses to Denver as one of their losses then KC gets in over them at 10-7. Couldn't tell you why but that's what the playoff machine says.

If lac beats Denver they get the division tiebreaker id have to look close at the rest if they don’t win a division game lol 

 

It’s week 18 so Denver may not be playing starters
