Offside Number 76 Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Come on. It's not the team's blunder and the guy is hurt. Is this really what we're doing here? 2 1 2 2 Quote
MikePJ76 Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago They got eliminated and now these guys have nothing no reason to play hurt. 1 4 1 Quote
Rochesterfan Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago This is a huge nothing - he was holding out hope for. Potential playoff push and now they are done and he can get the surgery and be ready to be a FA this off season and get away. The Bengals did nothing wrong - this is the team admitting they are done and trying to find players for the future. 4 Quote
Draconator Posted 21 hours ago Author Posted 21 hours ago It read to me like the Bengals pushed him to play 2 weeks after the initial injury. With what happened with Tee Higgins yesterday, it's an honest mistake. Quote
BlueRed Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago I guess I’d be curious what his market will be in FA after a season like this - could he be our Bosa next year on a 1-year incentive deal? I’d love to have Bosa back, but I think these 1 year prove it deals serve a good purpose (for both the player and the team)! Quote

gonzo1105 Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago I said it in another thread that it’s hilarious and Hendrickson played this injury perfectly. Im going to hold out because I’m way underpaid and want an extension. Bengals refuse to extend him and give him like an 18 million dollar pay increase. Gets hurt all season and might be too old and injured for the Bengals , who are financially conscious, now to franchise him , so he’ll still be a Free Agent next year , healthy and get a good contract. I usually don’t advocate for this, but with Mike Brown being a cheap ass I’m okay I’m with it in this scenario 1 Quote

vtnatefootball11 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Actually a smart decision by the Bengals not to extend him. Opposite of a blunder. Quote

To be fair we actually don’t know what would’ve happened in the alternate reality the bills signed him lol he can’t get hurt against gb if he doesn’t play gb Quote

Yes, we have to be bold to get over the top and win the SB. Why don’t we get difference makers! Beane is asleep at the wheel and afraid to make moves! NOW is the time to go all in with Josh in his prime! Am I doing this right? Quote

I think he'll have a market because he had 35 sacks the last 2 years prior to this one. I don't know what that market is, but defensive linemen seem to be able to play well into their 30's if they can stay healthy. I'd imagine less than he would have gotten last year, and likely only a 4 year deal with an out after 2. 1 Quote

Yeah, sign me up for that. Quote
