You must be some special kind of jerk to run yourself out of the league over it. If/when his frontal ever comes together he can look back and have some serious regrets about how his career went. Just don’t be a jerk for a while and see how things go. Quote
muppy Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago I found this link to add some context to this guy. https://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/breaking-news/article/bengals-release-wr-jermaine-burton-after-he-was-suspended-for-bills-game-marking-latest-off-field-issue-202826552.html Quote Bengals release WR Jermaine Burton after he was suspended for Bills game, marking latest off-field issue Burton did not make the trip to Buffalo on Sunday, and has yet to play at all this season after a disappointing rookie campaign last fall Quote
BillsFooteball Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago As badly as bills need WR help, this is not the guy to help Quote

Obvious character concerns but Beane/McD better be well past being above that given our dire WR position. If the locker room is as strong as they say it is, they can absorb one bad boy. He would sadly be the most talented WR on our roster. Yes! Take the youth. Kid can play. I would definitely swoop him up 1 1 Quote
SCBills Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Didn’t a scout come out of the draft saying Burton is the worst person he’s ever met? 3 3 1 Quote

By next to the stadium, I mean a 5-minute walk. 2) He was seen at bars, at closing, on the Saturday night before 1:00 games. we are talking about Jermaine Burton …not Keon Coleman Quote
TheBrownBear Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago This guy is a mess. I suspect we never hear from him again, at least nothing positive. Quote
newcam2012 Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago I'd take a shot at the young man. His upside is high. Perhaps the great culture of the Bills locker room and coaching staff can because positive influence on the young man. Trade him out for Coleman. Nothing to really lose here. 2 Quote

Miyagi-Do Karate Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Can you imagine? This guy has too many character issues for the Bengals?! 3 Quote

He was given a chance to take a big role last year with injuries and the first practice where he was to be #1 WR he NO SHOWED and posted on social media from a casino. Huge head case, worse than George Pickens. BIG NO. I’m not saying I want Burton to be a Bill… buuuuut… I’m saying I want Pickens to be a Bill. 1 Quote
wagne591 Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago I would take a shot at him. We need WR and this is a way to get a look at a very talented WR on the cheap. Maybe he was just not challenged enough in Cincy to keep him focused. If he knows he is not suiting up for the next game and is always not suiting up it would piss me off too. Some people are wired to keep busy to keep out of trouble. Don't look at the person look at the talent. Kid is ubber talented, and its football first. He just needs a good mentor. Quote

Kinda glad we missed on him but who knows coulda been a not good mix with him and Cincy. Burton was off the Bills, and most every other teams draft boards. Toxic. Cincy doesn’t care about character. GunnerBill Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago He broke into his ex girlfriend's house, choked her and punched her. Less than a year ago. While he was a pro in the NFL. Now if he had Antonio Brown like numbers some NFL team might think he is worth a shot. A career 4 catches for 107 yards? No way. Quote
nuklz2594 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago this kid and keon, what could possibly go wrong? Quote
