Gotta love a 4th place schedule

True but they also beat the Bills in Buffalo. Not an easy thing to do. I think the who did they play angle is vastly overrated. The Pats are a very good young team. Hopefully, the Bills can beat them in their house.

The drama of playing it out as NE (or Buffalo) getting that 1 seed is critical.

Because if that happens more than likely KC beats Denver meaning Denver gets the #2 seed and may face #7 KC. The Chargers have no chance to win out and the Colts are done.

The drama of the NFL storyline script is going to put KC @ Denver and KC winning to go to NE* for the divisional. The bottom half is going to be Buffalo over Pittsburgh with the Jaguars over the Texans - causing Buffalo to go to Jax - beat Jax than Bills @ Patriots for a great storyline,

NFL script also has it cold and snowing for the AFCC with the Bills/Patriots - and Josh Allen willing his team to victory.

the glitz and glamour of the Super Bowl will be the Rams over the Bills.

Agree to disagree. You changed your argument as you were unable to look past how deficient McCorkle is in talent. You are a biased fan. I also don’t really care for another team’s fan on this board. My impression is those people are starving for attention and come here to fill that void.

Disagree with your take and impression. I welcome opposing fans here. It's great to get other points of view from other fan bases. It's often refreshing from the homerism and negativity that exists amongst us Bills fans.

Would be a dream scenario. Hope you are right! I thought KC was all but done?

Can you imagine those Pats* fans, in-between your (for now) hypothetical Divisional and AFCCG.

They'd be on super cloud nine, "we dethroned Mahomes, we are the new dynasty". Only to be wiped out by Allen and Cook the following week.

Chargers best shot, imo, is to take down KC this coming Sunday, they may not make to the playoffs but it will finally kill off KC with 8 losses.

I haven't read the whole thread, so forgive me if this was covered.  Reflecting back to the H2H game played, Mayes killed the Bills on scrambles and completions seconds before he would have been sacked.  He was great at avoiding the pressure and completing drive sustaining passes.  That has got to be limited in the rematch.

I disagree.. the sentiment up here is the Pats are playing with house money and have already over achieved what most if not all reasonable people expected as far as win totals go.. Meanwhile the Bills are suppose to be the dominant team who should still be running the division with the Pats at least a good year or two away from challenging them. The pressure is squarely on the Bills to show the first game was a fluke and that the Bills are still one of the top 3 dominant team in the AFC.

I disagree wih you … you have a big lead in the Division and are in the running for the 1 seed …whatever the expectations were at the beginning of the season have well and truly changed now …

you will be talked up all week in the media by the Allen haters ..

Oh people are greedy and want more, but any reasonable person knows they are exceeding a lot more than planned and they are a good draft and FA away from being a true SB contender with Maye.. maybe that’s just me

you might be reasonable …most of your fan base isn’t …they are spoiled and by now quite used to having success ….

Chiefs have not looked like the  chiefs of old ALL year. They have been meh at best to bad.   What’s weird THIS year is there is no team that is like “Wow they are the team to beat”  I thought that might be the Rams but god they looked bad against the Panthers.. truth be told ANY playoff team could win the SB this year I don’t see 1 team that just unbeatable they all have warts.. lol

Funny enough I don’t think the chiefs have looked much worse this year than their 15-2 season last year or the season before that eye test wise they’ve just had polar opposite close game results.  They didn’t really look ‘right’ last year either but still powered through (until the Super Bowl of course lol)

KC is the 5th ranked offense and 7th ranked defense in ypg right now, 11th ranked offense and 7th ranked defense in points, and 6th in DVOA if you’re into the nerdy sh*t 😂 all of that is better than last season except for defensive ppg which is 0.2 higher

I don’t think people really comprehend how random and unpredictable close game results are and the 2024 chiefs vs 2025 chiefs is the best example I’ve seen of that in awhile.

its really kinda incomprehensible that they’re 6-7 unless Andy Reid’s contract with the devil expired 😂. They should be like an 8-5 team and should’ve been an 8-5 team at this point last year too

Offensively: Condensed sets are going to be good to us. Attack the edges of the defense through these - force their corners to make tackles in the run game and tire them out. See if they can hold up in the pass game after being heavily involved in run fits. Duo/pin and pull should be good calls. Need to come out in bunch/stack sets and test their communication switching routes off. Choice routes. Must make an effort to target backs in the pass game - their backers cannot cover our backs. Primarily a MOFC coverage team. They want to play Cover 3 on run downs or quarters on run downs vs condensed sets - this is when you want to run your RPOs and PAPs.

Defensively: Have to pick and choose when you want to pressure. Heavy sets they max protect quite a bit - play coverage. 11 personnel or lighter is when you want to bring pressure - heavy pass out of this personnel though mostly quick game. They run a ton of condensed sets - stay out of man as much as you can. Run game is mostly zone scheme, but like the Bengals (who had also been mostly zone scheme) I wouldn’t be surprised to see more gap scheme runs against us. Duo, toss, and iso are staples, but inside zone and Midzone show up a lot. Match heavy with heavy on run downs, play base on pass downs. 47 follows Diggs. They like stressing your curl/flat defender in base pass game - overhangs have to play well. Play action is largely flood concepts or wave - must play top down and force the check-down.

I love it when you talk dirty 😄

It’s the same thing just from another fan base.

Bills had 3 turnovers and 9 penalties. Also 3 drives out of 9 started inside their own 15. Coleman fumbled at the 10 which led to 3 points for NE.

If Bills play smart and come with their “A”  game, I believe they win.

Chiefs can squeak in if Chargers lose out which is possible.

it'd be hard for the Broncos to not get the #1 seed with that happening, however. but it's possible the Chiefs win against the Chargers, At Titans, Broncos, at Raiders

I am mostly worried about Diggs. It looks like he is mostly a slot guy now, just running quick stuff and picking up an easy 7 yards.

So that means we have the combination of “Washed up Taron” or “Try-hard Cam Lewis” trying to cover him inside? That is going to be a problem.

I've also seen the script, and unfortunately it is titled "The Lady With a Notebook: An Impossible Championship"

I just don't want to see Diggs catch the slant, and then just stand up with that stupid "intense" look on his face for 5 seconds before going to the huddle

How many things had to go wrong for the Bills in order for that to happen to only win by 3? I won't deny they are up and coming, but I'm not convinced they are an elite team either.

Please, someone tell me that douche Hochuli and his crew aren't doing this game again!

I don't think refh assignments are on until later today.

It's been a cute story. Drake Maye for MVP!

This week begins OUR march not to a midseason SNF championship, but to a SB championship!

NE has been much improved, and seem to have the HC and QB figured out, so they'll be a problem. But this is the year that all the hard work, all the winning, all the getting close, all the superhuman Allen plays, finally pay off.
