Bills don't really have a lot of pressure as they are pretty firmly going to be a wild card team barring anything crazy happening.

Pats are playing for the 1 seed, and it's still a measuring stick game for them to see how really good they are.

 

 I think it will be gut punching for the Pats if the reigning 5X afc east champs came into their building in a December game, and made a statement

It would be for the team but fans would call it a learning experience for a young team learning to win..  either way I just want both teams come out as healthy as possible because nothing worse than having your season ruined by a terrible injury (like what happened to Indy)

Maye played Cleveland and Atlanta and still put up 30 points. He has also played extremely well with out his star left tackle, another lineman and without Kayshon Boutte for a little while

This will be another close game, coming down to penalties, turnovers and sound decision making.  

 

My concern will be the special teams in general. Marcus Jones is really good and we seem to always get a flag or two for kickoff returns. 

 

I think it will be another high scoring game, one ascending QB against an elite QB, both wanting to show what they've got with 2 defensive HC's going nuts at times.  

2 defensive coaches.. Mike Vrabel is an excellent coach who also has one of the best offensive coordinators of all time in Josh McDaniels, with superbowl experience.

Yes - this. We controlled the whole game vs the Puts in the first game. We lost that game because we were not prepared, injured, and TO x 3. This game will be much, much different. Without who??? You sound like an emotional man who doesnt know football. Gonzalez might be the league’s best corner and Milton Johnson one of the best run stuffers.. I won't go into detail with the other names because you sound like an emotional fan instead of a person who can have conversations on football knowledge. Even I know some of the best players on your team.. though they force Josh Allen to try and do everything by himself which will not work against the Patriots. What is crazy is the fact that even though you guys got beat AT HOME you STILL have this cocky confidence due to the last few years of competing to get to the conference championship game and not the superbowl 🤔🧐 .. Patrick Mahomes, Tom Brady, Brock Purdy, Matthew Stafford, Jalen Hurts, Joe Burrow .. at played at least once on Superbowl Sunday.. where is Lamar Jackson? Josh Allen? There’s a difference between being cocky and confident.  I’ll put my money on Josh over Drake all day.  It’s so funny to me you come crawling into a Bills message board a week before the game though looking to pick fights.  For all the Super Bowls that the Pats* “won” with Brady, one would think your self-esteem would be a little higher and you just wouldn’t care to stir a hornet’s nest at this point.  But apparently you are lacking for attention and anything else to do.

Not meaning to geek out, but after this past weekend, I think a fair amount of it is going to come down to field condition.  I got the sense that Brady wanted to test the success the Bills had had against Pittsburgh, and holy crap those outside runs just weren't there.  It was terrible.  I thought I saw - with my untrained eye - that they started having success running the inside game as time progressed (and the snow finally let up).

 

So I just checked NWS for Foxboro for Sunday.  Looks like it's dry, clear, sunny and not even THAT cold (29-30).  The turf should be in good shape.  If Spencer Brown is back at RT and Williams is out (and, I mean I guess he is), I'd be watching for Steelers Part Deux.  And if that starts to work, I don't think the Pats* are going to be able to do anything about it.

I think there will be opportunities for Cook for sure. NE is struggling against the run right now. This is going to be another strong showing for both RB and TEs. That's perfect because this will keep that defense on their heels. Add in an Allen run or two and it could really get interesting. I don't now about another Pittsburgh like game, but it sure could be a dominant rushing attack.

Ha!  I used the wrong word, and corrected it.  Didn't mean "field position", but "field condition".  Yeah, Pittsburgh might have been an outlier.  That was crazy - ran on them more at home than had happened for 50 years.  The point is time-of-possession.  You start pushing that up to 40 minutes, and it basically means that any magic that Maye is going to perform has to happen in a very narrow window.

Who says the Pats are much better than the Bills? Also turning the ball over has been an issue ever since that game for the Bills and the Pats have played better and better on O since then.  Chip on their shoulder? They should be hyper focused because a couple of losses and they may not make the playoffs and IMO this game and the Eagles are the ones that realistically could be L for them. 
 

Also what people are over estimating the Pats? Vegas has them as UNDERDOGS at home.

There's a lot of Patriots fans all over the Internet who think they're about to go on a dynasty run and that the bills are over the hill and about to get smoked

I would bet any amount with Vegas

 

The bills are favored because Vegas still believes they're a better team with experience in a big game..  but that doesn't mean most Patriots fans think that

I expect them keep Cook under a 100 yards with a couple of big runs by him.. TE coverage has always been a weakness this year but few teams have exploited that at all so far.. game should be. Good one.

Yeah that doesn't give me a warm fuzzy when an 11-2 team opens as a dog at home.

 

Even if the Patriots still manage to claim the AFC East, their reward might be hosting a team like Houston, where the Bills as a #5 would travel to the champ of the AFC Norris, probably at 9-8. It's a weird year.

You lose Sunday (if) and lose to the Eagles that’s 6 losses so they would need someone else lose 2 games (most likely Indy) Also the Bills lost to the Dolphins there are no Ginny games for anyone in the AFC this year 

 

as for “vibe”  about dynasty being back where are you hanging out with 20 somethings who no next to nothing about football? Most fan are happy and shocked how well the team has done.. I personally have said the Pats aren’t as talented as the Bills but they may be better coached and confidence right now is through the roof so winning Sunday isn’t hard to believe and IMO can very well happen especially if the Bills continue to turn the ball over like they have been.
