How do we feel about Higgins playing most of the game concussed?

Can't really criticize the Bengals because we all watched Allen get knocked out vs Houston last year and finish the game.

 

Can we all just admit that the concussion protocol is a complete joke?

Okay, you can pass protocol, fine.  I don't get why the concussion spotter didn't call down every time his head bounced off the turf like a basketball.  It seems like he was evaluated only one time.  Yet, it is very obvious that his head is smacking the turf, he is getting up holding his head, and he is coming off a concussion.

Yeah, it was bad. I was saying to my wife the entire game “WTF are they doing allowing him to play?” when he got up after every play (usually a drop) holding his head. Just unacceptable.

After he grabbed his helmet after bonking his head off the ground a second time I was hoping they'd take him to the hospital and make sure he wasn't seriously scrambled.

There was no way Higgins should have been in the game after the first head hit, much less the second.  The NFL is a complete joke when it comes to player safety.
