Because the game in Orchard Park was on NBC, NFL media rules dictate that the second game must go to CBS.

CBS could have flex'ed it to 4:25, but it is a double-doubleheader next week for CBS and FOX.  They want good games heading each of the four windows, hence why this game didn't move from 1pm.

Isn't it too late for that?

Not when it's week 14 or later. Only need one week notice

Yes, and there already 3 good games at 4pm.  Packers/Broncos, Rams/Lions, and Seahawks/Colts.  Now since Daniel Jones just tore his Achilles so maybe that can be flexed.

The night games maybe, but honestly, I love 1pm games.  For the Buffalo people, you’ll get the game, and for the out of towners, there are other options.

Besides I don’t want to wait all damn day for a night game that makes me nervous.

Has to move to 4:00 window or prime time…

It’s too late, had to be by Tuesday.

also — new rules— since one game was on national tv ( espn/ nbc/ amazon) CBS can’t lose the game to flexing.

the only thing the could do was move it to 425 on cbs.  That is true with 2 other earlier cbs games in chargers/ chiefs and Balt/ Cin. Chargers/ chiefs was a Friday night game in Brazil and Cin/ Balt was nbc on thxgvg.

As many have already stated, think it's too late, plus in spite of what the biased fan on this site may feel, the 4:25 game is Green  Bay at Denver which is a very good game and as popular as the Bills are, I'm willing to bet there are more Green Bay fans .

So not happening

Next week is a dual DH weekend.

im actually surprised CBS didn’t move one of BUF/NE, BAL/CIN or LAC/KC to 425 just to balance out the schedule.
