the first half defense was bad and passive like they were feeling them out and didn't want to give up big plays.  then in the second half they were aggressive and took the risk.  Tackled well today and played the run really well.

i feel like they do this a lot

We had a recent incident  here in Rugby where a guy got concussed in the pre game …wasn’t checked out and played the game … he ended up concussed again and had bleeding on the brain requiring surgery … six weeks later is still in hospital and has likely played his last game … they gotta do better these days ..

that is frightening

Watching in Taiwan at two to five a.m.

I thought we were doomed when cook fumbled, BUT I knew we had Josh Allen.

And thus had a chance

How’s Jones?

Allen saves the Bills from the coaching staf,

I thought Brady called a great game today in the snow. Josh had to go hero a few times because we don't have tee Higgins and chase.

its why we should have been throwing the ball sooner

Personally I liked the mix today. Its what I have been begging for since Daboll. It makes the defense guess and not be so damn predictable all the time.

Higgins doinked repeatedly. Hope he is ok now that we won.

Dude SMASHED his head after just clearing protocol after a concussion. Immediately comes back into the game after literally pointing at his head. Proceeded to drop passes and double clutch balls all while scoring a one handed TD. This guy is a legit weapon and also spaghetti.

We stole that game. Thank God for Benford. Rest of the defense was dumpster juice

I think Benford and Hairston did as good of a job as can be expected. Bishop has been a dog and has stayed healthy (knock on wood). There are a lot of shots that Burrow turned down probably because those two were playing pretty well.

Hancock needs a lot more coaching up and safety is an area that McD has done wonders with in the past, but the kid is a rookie and when he platoons with Poyer you can tell he is still not sure where to roll his coverage and he is late getting where he needs to be to provide help over top.

Slot has been tough to watch this year and teams are really going after Taron and Cam. Not just going after the short stuff, but having them carry coverage downfield.  I never thought about slot corner as being a team need in the off season, but I did not expect Taron to decline as much as he has. Cam is ok, but I think of him as more of a depth player to help when there are injuries - not a high-end starter.

The line really needs Epenesa and Groot to step up with all the injuries. I thought the interior did a decent job on the run stops (particularly in the 2nd half) forcing those to bounce more outside. Not a lot of push up the middle to collapse the pocket, but that was what they paid Oliver to produce (and he is out) and Sanders who was probably intended as someone to spell Oliver is still a rookie with a long ways to go (and they have been playing him at DE) which is not his natural position.

A mash unit with a lot of rookies and new faces trying to keep the wheels from falling off - I am ok with giving Bosa another week to get healthy.

This game reminded me of some of the home game TD eruptions during the Super Bowl era.  A home crowd in a frenzy, the Bills down by 2 scores at times and then boom - a TD explosion.

Shades of the comeback against the Broncos when Biscuit returned the blocked FG for a TD.
