Didn't want to bury this in a 30 page thread because some might be interested.

There is a very real possibility that there is going to be a 2-3 hr window right smack dab in the middle of this game where a couple inches of snow might fall on Orchard Park.

I mention this because we have all seen times when a fast blast of accumulating snow seemingly comes out of nowhere during a Bills home game. And we also have all seen how it can turn that stadium electric reeeeeal quick and have a legitimate impact on a game.

In addition to the interesting matchup, tomorrow could become extra entertaining for the folks in attendance.

 ❄️ Enjoy! ❄️

Thankfully my snowblower starts. Firing it up at 4:15 pm.

i have always been a big “build a dome” guy. But what a blessing a big storm would be for us— may hurt the bengals pass game and we finally be a true snow team with our new running game.

Considering we are, frustratingly, a better running team than a passing team, a good blizzard could be an advantage.

Light winds and no more than 2-3" accumulation, so no blizzard.

Just a quick dump of an inch or two that can get everybody good and fired up and trigger a raucous party.

The Bengals played just fine the last time they played in the snow in OP.

With my meteorology class I'm finishing up, Penn State recommended Pivotal Weather. I just signed up for a subscription, and I can actually read the maps they give. It's really an amazing website. All the word forecast models are available to you. I agree with Simon. About 2.2 inches will fall between 1pm and 4pm. Just enough to make Burrow cry.

This is the kind of insider information I come here for the night before a home game. Nothing like a snow globe game. So much fun.

Just enough to encourage the zebras to keep their flags in their pockets and make it off the field as quickly as possible. Good chance to get a bit physical on Chase and Higgins.

They looked very comfortable that’s for sure. The Bills looked like they had no idea what to do with snow falling. It was an embarrassment for the franchise.

I was at that game. Ugh. And then some Bills players saying they weren't prepared and were slipping. Wrong shoes and such. That made it worse.

Was also there. Supremely disconcerting to see the road team come in better prepared for on-field conditions, among other things. That game was an inevitable reckoning...the obvious conclusion to such an oddly frustrating, exhausting season for the team collectively and individually, almost as if the specter of 13 seconds had caused a hangover typically felt by SB losers.

And they still won 13 games. But Allen had 14 interceptions and 13 fumbles (of which HE recovered 5...not sure how many were in fact turnovers). Something changed right before halftime of that GB Halloween game. Most likely a concussion for Allen, on top of whatever else was going on for him off the field. The vibe was way off that season. Cinci was just the better team.

Thanks Simon, I've traveled up for this one today specifically in the hope it would be a "snow game".   Been to many games but never a snow game.   So looking forward to it.  Going with my daughter and her husband , who are coming in from NYC this a.m.

Go Bills.

When the Bills are playing well the snow during a game looks fantastic. That game vs Miami a few years ago when it turned into a whiteout in the second half and the Bills players were clearing the snow with their hands for the winning FG, ah that was magic

Iirc it snowed during the Bengals playoff game a couple years ago and the crowd was dead one of the worst home crowds I’ve ever seen. Was like walking into a funeral. The bengals fans were loud but bills fans were not. Same with Dolphins playoff game but it might have snowed before the game.

Bills were very good in the snow against the 49ers last year.. It helped that Mcaffery got hurt though.

I hope you get what you came for.

Last years “snow globe game” vs San Francisco was the coolest game I’ve ever been to. Just the perfect mesh of winter wonderland and bills football,

enjoy!

I hate this. We have Josh Allen: let’s hope for crappy weather so we can just run the ball. 👎
