US Egg Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago A no vote here, maybe because I get so dreamy eyed every time I watch it. Ain’t never been a better, grittier portrayal of the unsuspecting everyman hero character. Quote

The Jokeman Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago As I tell my wife, if Home Alone is a Christmas movie so is Die Hard. Quote
dpberr Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Absolutely. Die Hard features several redemption arcs, a common theme in many Christmas movies. It was also among the first action films I can remember to use a holiday setting as a central plot device. In my opinion, Die Hard feels more like a Christmas movie than Die Hard 2. I’ve always found the second film somewhat derivative. For me, Die Hard with a Vengeance stands out as the strongest entry in the series. Quote
