Hawes can already do everything Knox can. Really makes Knox expendable. 

 

I'm NOT saying Hawes is as good as Kelce, but much like Kelce Hawes is good at peeling boff and finding holes in zone coverage. He, I think has the ability to be bigger in the passing game.

This is exactly my concern. We were concerned about the offense earlier this year and then we beat KC and everyone was placated... until we were stomped by Miami.

 

Brady has absolutely not proven that he's evolved as quickly as he should. Apparently Coleman got some snaps from the slot against Pittsburgh... something posters here have been clamoring for all season long. Maybe there is hope but I'm more of a proof guy than a hope guy.

I know Josh loves Knox and recently said something along the lines of "trusting him with my life" but Knox still struggles to catch the ball. A few times in recent games he's had to fall down in order to secure a catch where a better receiving tight end would have radiused to pluck the ball out of the air and head upfield. I guess it's too late to hope that Knox will ever improve as a ball catcher.

I really don’t understand why so many seem to want to clutch defeat from the jaws of victory.  Will Brady adapt if teams go full in against the run?  I think so.  The truly horrible game Brady had this year was the Texans game.  One hopes he learned from that.  Once Kincaid is back you’ll have him, Cooks, Shakir, Palmer, and 3 RBs that can all catch the ball.  So yeah Ivthink he can piece something together.

Hey, I love Josh. But the next time he doesn't say something overly glowing about a teammate or coach will be the first time it happens. He's too much of a Golden Retriever to not love everyone. 

 

Even last year when he was calling Ty Johnson the "best 3rd down RB in the NFL". I mean, we all have eyes. He was good but the best? C'mon now lol. Heck, he still hypes Diggs up when asked a question about him. He just doesn't know any other way but to talk positive about others. He is Mr. Brightside.

Josh advocated for Ken Dorsey publicly. He advocated for Joe Brady publicly. They both got their jobs and everyone said "Gotta make Josh happy". He's been vocally supportive of guys like Keon Coleman. He was in a group of WRs that he publicly talked up before the draft. Maybe it's time to stop making Josh happy and put guys around him that are skilled. If they really want to make Josh happy, how about a move up the draft board for a big time WR?

This was in response to my post so I can only surmise it was directed at me.

 

I enjoyed this victory very much and have been pretty consistently positive about this team.

 

But Joe Brady has not proven that he deserves the benefit of the doubt when it comes to this offense and specifically the passing game.

 

I'll be overjoyed to be proven wrong but my skepticism is well-founded. As always, I'll believe it when I see it.

Pats look pretty vulnerable to the throws over the middle and Josh scrambles on passing plays.  Don’t think we did either enough last time and Kincaid had over 100 yards receiving and Josh had over 50 rushing yards.  I’d suspect they’ll do a nice job against cook specifically against though
