What?

”He’s a runner so he can legally be hit in the head”???

The official NFL Twitter account still hasn't posted a replay of that fumble, which tells you everything you need to know. I'm shocked they didn't call a penalty there. Even if it wasn't intentional they are always calling that.

This is a good Patriots team that’s taking advantage of the league’s easiest schedule.

Give me a January game in NE, I like our chances there more so than at Denver or Baltimore.

Problem is they have a coaching advantage, and it showed last time

That is what they said so it must be true. In college he would have been penalized and probably ejected.

Did that rules expert say helmet to helmet is OK because the returner was a runner?  WTF does that mean?  Do they make this stuff up as they go along?

The rules expert is just there to convince you not to believe your lying eyes.

I've watched it 15 times and to me it clearly looks like he got shoulder first.

All good we can agree to disagree

And Ellis just did another cheap shot helmet to helmet.  Interesting that this is not a penalty in the NFL but in college it is targeting.  There is no way deliberately leading with your helmet to the head of an opposing player should be legal at any level of football.

Not saying they’ll be the same in the playoffs but the mark of a good team and one who is well coached is that they win games. And the lesser opponents, they beat handily.

It’s a double secret rule they made up on the spot

Def wasn’t quick kick right after

What can I say? All touchdowns are reviewed. I agree it was quick though.

Thought the same thing. Is that actually the rule?

I believe there is a rule about a RB inside the tackles.  I can't believe it covers kick returner.

A conspiracy of stupidity and silence from the broadcast crew as well.

I believe the commentator is correct. This isn’t college football
