A good coach will see what a motivated player can and will do. If this motivates Abdul to bring the wood than the coach needs to be able to tap this energy when needed.

When he was with the team who drafted him he was interviewed. He said he will help opposing players stand up and just wants to be a nice guy. He said he never knew where he may play one day or who with, that he'd rather be a good example of a person. 

 

His positive attitude, his willingness to accept any role the coach provides, his durability, work ethic, and heart have put him in the NFL year after year.

 

I argued with DR about how long he would last vs Zach Moss (who DR advocated to keep and start).

 

Singleterry is a guy that will play 8-10 years in the NFL even if he never makes a pro bowl
