Well, we are fans and don’t actually have any direct effect on the games, so it’s probably pretty safe for us to look ahead to other games

But you understand the heart of what I'm saying.

Well, I think the Patriots are currently the best team in the NFL.  That can change as I don't think they are as dominant as, say, the Chiefs have been in other seasons, but many of the contenders are playing inconsistent football. They are a very consistent, technically sound team with good coaching.  And they have a fair bit of cap room for next season.

And I feel sad saying this, but Maye looked amazing tonight.  Yes, it's the Giants, but his mechanics may be the best I've seen from a QB on the field this season.  He is so technically sound with his footwork, his downfield vision, etc.  I was impressed.  I hope it's not true, but the Pats look like another dynasty is on the horizon.

None of the above, however, means we can't beat them in two weeks!  We will just need to play well and get some breaks.

Pats are operationally smooth. Top to bottom. Maye is so accurate. He has a multi Super Bowl champion OC. They have speed everywhere. We’re gonna get steamrolled in NE.

My biggest concern regarding the New England game in 2 weeks is the fact that New England has a bye next weekend.  I don't like the idea of New England's coaches having an extra week to put a game plan together, not to mention the game is in New England.

My thinking right now as well. Pats can clinch the division by beating us and they will be fired up as can be. Dethroning us for the division will be the Super Bowl for them and their "fans", actually winning the Super Bowl would just be gravy at this point. They will want to win this for Kraft so badly as well as Diggs and Hollins. I do not see the Bills matching their intensity and focus and a lot depends on how the Bengals game goes. I hope that I am wrong.

Its all about actually tackling Maye this time. Last time he managed to evade our bumbling tackling to throw several clutch completions which of course were augmented by even more terrible tackling. I also think the Bills were completely unprepared and poorly motivated for that game. They assumed that they would win just by showing up and never seemed to really believe that they would lose. As seen in the Steelers game, sometimes this team needs to get mad to gear down and focus.

If the Bills were unprepared and poorly motivated for a primetime home game against a division opponent with Diggs on the other side, then I do not have much faith they can do the opposite on the road against the same opponent at 1:00 where the division can be clinched by them.

Not that I want to overlook a rising Bengals team, but I could not help notice that the Patriots get a bye week before playing us on their home turf.  Plenty of time to prepare for the Bills.  Nothing comes easy fo us.

Just hope our guys do the job against the Bengals and then circle the biggest game of the season the week after as an absolute must-win.

Its not a must win.

Bills can drop bengals AND ne just need to win 3 of 5 remaining.

It'll be must win when we see them in the playoffs

Vrabel Effect in full show.

The entire team plays with an edge and confidence.

We have to wait for our QB to get a cheap shot to "wake up" from low positive.

As long as the Vrabel Effect stays true to form and they sputter out in the early rounds and then slowly decay to non existence Then I am okay with it.

Okay with the Bills losing the division? Okay with the Bills maybe not even making the playoffs?

This isnt his Tennessee team being QBed by Marcus Mariota or Ryan Tannehill, that's the effect you're talking about. They're "young" and might make an early exit this year due to inexperience, but that wont last long.

And you guys were all saying Vrabel is garbage.........but look what he's doing with a legit QB at the helm.

They are virtually unstoppable.

If only we had coaching like this.

sigh

Patriots are reminding me alot of the 2020 bills. I'm really interested to see them play a legit contender, whether the bills or whoever.

It's a good analogy.  Let's see how they look when they don't play the sisters of the poor.  Their quality win really was against us, when we played poorly and were jobbed on the non-call on Shakir.  We'll see them twice again before this is done.

Our schedule isnt much different or more difficult. The main difference is the Pats show up to every game while the Bills consistently no-show against teams like the Falcons, Dolphins, and Texans.

Highlighting "we played poorly", we sure did and we sure do. While the Pats havent no-showed a single game this year. They stumbled out the gate as young team in their season opener and still kept it a one score game, and had a bunch of fluke fumbles in their other loss and still kept it a one score game. Every other game, they show up and whip the other team. No playing down. No "its tough to win in the NFL". They go out against a weaker team and dominate like they should, week in and week out.

Its a problem. Theyre a problem. The Bills need to get their ***** together and show up like they care without having to wait for Josh to get lit up.

Beat them in the playoffs. I could care less about two weeks from now unless it has any bearing on making the playoffs. If the Bills beat Cincinnati, then the NE game becomes a little less relevant. I have given up on the division. No chance the Bills get help from NYJ or MIA.

We are going to smoke the Pats in the rematch.  They’re a paper tiger, just like the Colts.

They are a really well coached unit who limits mistakes and has an efficient offense. Sure they have played an easy schedule, but they have handled their business. Can we beat them? Absolutely. Can they beat us? Absolutely.

It’s not just us.  Let’s see how they deal with the Ravens, or then broncos, or even the Texans, which I think is the dark horse team in the AFC.

our season went sideways with the Shakir no call and the Miami loss.  The latter thing is the game we’re really going to rue when we’re on the road in the first round.  Otherwise, we had a baby day at the office against ATL (it happens), and the Texans are a legit nasty defense.
