I ran into one of my old classmates a few years back and he asked me why i didn't go to the reunion (apparently, everyone was there) and honestly, i never got an invitation or invite, so i didn't even know they were having one.

 

Everyone got an invitation (even Klaus, who died 22 years before........yes, even a dead guy got an invite over me).

 

The reunion committee probably threw my invite in the garbage saying, "nope, we don't want this guy anywhere near us".

 

Looking back, i don't even know how i'm supposed to feel about this.

And neither of them particularly enamored of NFL football

 

In that respect I failed them miserably

Football wise my first memories were the Super Bowl years.

 

It feels like an in between generation.  Can still appreciate the advice of elders in my family but have some of the younger generations skepticism about things.  I feel old often these days but I’m not.  

 

Born in 1981. Started getting interested in football the year before our first Super Bowl run.

 

So long ago... and I don't feel old.

This is funny. 

 

Our 20 year class reunion got canceled due to covid. So out of nowhere there was a post on the alumni page which somehow I got on saying that "the girls and I were going to get up and do drinks this week because I will be in town. We thought we should see if anyone else wants to join us for a 25 class reunion." 

 

I was laughing my ass off when I realized that people still think of themselves as their high School click and " the girls" and how honored we must all feel to be invited to their Cool girl reunion 

 

The amount of filler and age combined with all of them made me laugh. I have no desire to go see randoms I went to high school with even if my class size is only 325. 

 

In 25 years of my life I've moved on and I've never understood how people remain so small.
