I ran into one of my old classmates a few years back and he asked me why i didn't go to the reunion (apparently, everyone was there) and honestly, i never got an invitation or invite, so i didn't even know they were having one.

 

Everyone got an invitation (even Klaus, who died 22 years before........yes, even a dead guy got an invite over me).

 

The reunion committee probably threw my invite in the garbage saying, "nope, we don't want this guy anywhere near us".

 

Looking back, i don't even know how i'm supposed to feel about this.

I think he wanted to be an alchemist as a child, and this is part of his grand plan. And an admirable plan it is, I must say!

both my kids were born in the 80's. So Im old enough to be some of yours Moms.

 

And neither of them particularly enamored of NFL football

 

In that respect I failed them miserably

And yes they have seen their diehard Bills mom yell at the TV since they were born

Muttered wtf countless times watching my grandkids, caught in an out loud one by my 11 y.o. granddaughter recently. Mortified, I turned and babbled an apology, before I finished she said, it’s ok Daddy says it. Whew!

Football wise my first memories were the Super Bowl years.

 

It feels like an in between generation.  Can still appreciate the advice of elders in my family but have some of the younger generations skepticism about things.  I feel old often these days but I’m not.  

 

Born in 1981. Started getting interested in football the year before our first Super Bowl run.

 

So long ago... and I don't feel old.
