We had basically zilch growing up in the ‘60’s and ‘70’s. That's so true. I remember getting stuff from the Penney's catalog in the early 70s, maybe sweatshirts and knit hats, and the stores carried the local teams. Bills, Browns, etc. I also liked the Vikings at the time, my brother the Packers, and the Penney's catalog was the only place to get out of town gear. It was the Fanatics of its day. I know Sears also carried NFL stuff, but Penney's was close to us. 1 Quote

Augie Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I was born the same month and year as the Bills, October of 1959. A lot of stuff happened before the 80’s. 2 1 Quote

Can still appreciate the advice of elders in my family but have some of the younger generations skepticism about things. I feel old often these days but I’m not. I graduated HS in the 80’s, does that count? 1 Quote
Wacka Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I had my 50th reunion this past summer. Was great to see who was still around. Quote

We had basically zilch growing up in the ‘60’s and ‘70’s. My parents had season tickets to the first year at the current stadium. They had matching Bills rain ponchos, with the standing Buffalo helmet on them. I wish I still had those. I always thought those were so cool. 1 Quote

Yeah, you don’t want to wear those if your arthritis is flaring up and you’re having ice tea by the gallon at lunch. Don’t create a crisis. Oddly, if you were drinking gallons of beer I think you’d forget about your sore hands and just power thru it. Quote
