buffblue Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago (edited) YES PLEASE. He went there prior to the realization JJ McCarthy is hot garbage. The guy is at the end of his career and wants to win. He would also instantly be the best slot wideout on this team (yes, better than Shakir) Edited 8 hours ago by buffblue 1 Quote
TheBrownBear Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago The guy remained productive until this season. Not sure if he fell off the cliff or it's just McCarthy. Could be worth a look, but would he be willing to take a practice squad role? 1 Quote

Chicken Boo Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Justin Jefferson is going to ask for his release soon. These wide receivers never learn. Quote

Maybe go snag Keyshawn Johnson, and we would have a 2002 all-star team! seriously they may be better than the stiffs we have now...but the issue is also not with our WRs...our OC's inability to use them. I hear your point and know what you mean about Brady, but let’s be honest the issue is both. Quote

BillsFanForever19 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) I mean, if he wants to come and be a backup to Khalil Shakir and probably not be active unless he's hurt, sure. But even then, I just don't see a place for him on the roster unless someone gets IR'ed. The only ones that made sense to move on from to make space were releasing Elijah Moore and IR'ing Curtis Samuel (since we need to release him in the off-season for Cap relief). And we already did that for Gabe Davis and Brandin Cooks (both of which I'd prefer over Thielen). Coleman won't be released. He'll be given the year and if things don't change, he'll be moved in the off-season for a minimal return. Before anyone says "no one's trading us anything for him" - the same was said about Elam and we got more than what we expected. These kind of "change of scenery" trades happen all the time. And clearly, none of Khalil Shakir, Brandin Cooks, Josh Palmer, or Gabe Davis is going to be released for him. Shavers is a core Special Teams player who we have under contract next season as well. And we only keep 7 when a WR is our core Return Specialist. That's for Mecole Hardman when he's back, if he's back, and Thielen won't be doing that to take that spot. So, yeah, unless someone gets hurt - I don't see a place for him on the Active List on Sundays or even a spot for him on the Roster. If he wants to sign on to our Practice Squad though - sure. Last year in 10 games he had 48 catches for 615 yards and 5 TDs. That was skewed a bit by the 5 catch, 110 yard, 2 TD performance in week 17. Edited 1 hour ago by Sierra Foothills Quote
Buffalo Ballin Posted 30 minutes ago Posted 30 minutes ago No thanks. 35 years old. He's cooked. Quote
