yea, he’s not a guy with a playbook - so it’d be a situation where someone like Brady (or Sean Payton as an old coworker) might take him as a leader of men and more well paid line coach

but I think we are safe and he will be a tremendous asset for us barring our own major shakeup. Even then, could be the type to be retained as Brady isn’t his guy specifically

Maybe as assistant head coach / run game coordinator ?

someone could title it that or OC to justify dollars but in essence, he’s a very good line coach and only ok above. I think he knows where his sweet spot is for success instead of bouncing all over.

Feel like we may lose him soon

Kromer seems to be that guy under the radar that just likes what he does. Remember, we have no idea what a $7Bilionaire has decided to pay him and there is no salary cap on coaches.

The Texans defense is one of the best defenses in the NFL; the Texans poor start was primarily the fault of their offense (or lack of).  The Steelers defense has lots of outstanding players but they've played like a bunch of JAGs almost the entire season.

My brother is a Texans fan and watches every snap - his main comment was he couldn't believe we didn't just run right at them over and over again.

They were astonished we set up to pass with 5 man protections - they haven't seen anybody do that all season as it seems suicidal (and proved to be exactly that!)

My view on the game was they didnt sell out to stop the run at all - it looked a bit like that with so many men at the line, but those guys were just happy to cover our eligibles from close up to the line - they werent selling out to stop the run - we just didn't run it enough to force any changes. hence why i felt the Steelers game plan was 10 days late - it would have been a much better option @ Texans
