Ray Stonada Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago With Kincaid in the lineup we are 6-2, without him we are 2-2. He's definitely emerging this year as a pass-catching TE1. But he's not a cure-all. He played against the Dolphins and the Pats and we were anemic on offense. We scored 44 on Tampa and dominated the Steelers without him. Better is to sit him until he's healthy--a gimpy Kincaid like in the AFC championship hurts us more than going with Hawes and Knox, IMO. 3 1 Quote

Pats game we moved the ball well even in spite of getting hammered with a ton of penalty yards and Kincaid had over 100 receiving yards. that game gets lumped in with Atlanta/miami but it didn’t really have that vibe to me. NE was more just shooting ourselves in the foot with penalties/turnovers The only real ugly game Kincaid played in was Miami and he missed almost a half Edited 6 hours ago by Generic_Bills_Fan 1 1 Quote

I would give us a less than .01% chance to win the SB without him. Problem is, we might not even make the playoffs without him. Well this is really a bad take, which is very rare with you. We can definitely win SB without Kincaid, just as without any single player not named Josh Allen. And we are making playoffs no matter what (if Allen plays). Any 3-2 records gets us in an no way we aren't making that record in December. You guys were not paying attention last 5 years or what? Quote

Any 3-2 records gets us in an no way we aren't making that record in December. You guys were not paying attention last 5 years or what? Thanks for the compliment. 🍻 I understand that it’s an odd take. I’m usually on the most optimistic side. .01% is based on us currently having about a 9% chance of winning the SB. I think we’ll will 💯 make the playoffs (if we have Kincaid), but more like 90-95% if we didn’t play again in the regular season. My reasoning for these thoughts: I believe that there will be one (of the 4 dcs we play in the playoffs) that will go all out to stop to the run and bring the proper game plan to do it. Which leaves it to the pass game, defense and STs to win the game.. -Of the 3, I have the most confidence in our defense getting the job done (which is scary based on past playoff performances)….IF we have some horses. That said, my pessimism regarding injury is at an all time high and I expect the usual suspects on D to miss time in the playoffs. - Josh just doesn’t seem to have any rhythm in the pass game this season. Just my opinion here, but I think he’s been bailing on the pocket prematurely (at a much higher rate than in the past), not because our OL is getting worked over, but because he’s knows he needs to create angles in the passing game to help his WRs create separation. IMaaaaybe Palmer will be able to be that guy; but based on his usage (and injury which doesn’t seem to be getting any better), I find it doubtful. Josh and Keon just aren’t a good match imo. For as great as Josh is, I have little confidence in him throwing accurate jump balls, back shoulder, high ball placement passes, if he does make a nice one, I don’t have much confidence in Keon bringing it down. I have more confidence in Gabe and Cooks…which is pathetic. Knox looks like a robot in the pass game. I can barely tell the difference between he and Hawes based on their movement. That leaves us with screens to Shakir (and I don’t think that’s sustainable for a 4 game playoff push) and RBs (who I do believe in, but I think they will be the focus of the opposing defense). I don’t think that’s enough to win when teams take away our run game (which is essentially a numbers game). - I don’t have any confidence in our STs winning a game for us in the playoffs. Kincaid is the key to our pass game success and without him, winning 4 games in a row vs playoff teams on the road is beyond just very unlikely. We’ll need a miracle. I feel miracles have a much lower than a 1% chance of coming to fruition, so .01% sounded good. Lots of luck (which is rarely on our side), great coaching and game planning is our only hope without him imo. hopefully we won’t find out if I’m wrong as Kincaid will miraculously be healthy the rest of the way. i appreciate your take @No_Matter_What and I see why you feel that way. We have Josh Allen and anything is possible with him. I just need to see more from our WRs to regain that type of confidence. 9 hours ago, Big Blitz said: When isn’t this the case. Some bodies aren’t made for the rigors on the NFL, to date, it seems that kincaid has one of those bodies 10 hours ago, Shortchaz said: That…is….reassuring… Hahaha, well said sir Quote
