Hopefully Fox is a prime Bruce Smith in disguise.....

Honestly, no expectations for either player.  We know what Spector is and there's a reason Fox was on the couch a few weeks ago.  But hey.....  we need bodies.  Hopefully they can provide something of substance while they are out there.

With how this season has gone, Fox will have a good game showing us some promise. Then end up on the mystery injury report Monday and IR Wednesday

Would like to think this means Kincaid plays since Latu isn’t called up. But since they would have to sign Latu to the active roster for this call up, it is still a mystery until 11:30 Sunday.

They could also roll with 2 TEs and a combo of Gilliam/extra lineman. They use to employ an extra lineman all the time until they switched to these TE sets. As far as the run game goes, its just as effective.

We’re going to steamroll Cincinnati and rough up Burrow.  Gonna take out a lot of frustration on this club.

I don't think so but I really hope so. I'll be happy if we just beat the team and get out of this week with no more injuries. Dont care about ugly. Dont care if its a nailbiter and we win by 1 point. Just get the W.

This is the last team on the schedule that I worry about. As much as I talk about how I think the Pats are good, I think we beat them in round 2, so they dont even make me worried.

Nothing is guaranteed in sports, obviously.

I rarely bet on the Bills.  Their point spreads are so overinflated because of their reputation. This is a rare time i’m betting on them minus the points.  McDermott is really good in these “revenge” regular season games.  We owe Cincinnati and Burrow a beat down and Buffalo will play like an AFC powerhouse and deliver at home in some snowfall.

Next weekend against the Pats is the one I want to hammer.  Pats are favored last I knew.  Great betting opportunity if you think the Pats beating us earlier in the year was more of a fluke, which I do.

Morris doesn’t play for the bills anymore? Do you mean Gilliam the fullback ?

I agree. I think Cinci and NE will be some great Bills football.  Best of the year.  They will be sky high and playing with a ton of motivation in both these games. In the AFC hierarchy the Bills are still up there.

On the flip side i think there will be letdowns against Cleveland and/or Philadelphia. I don’t know why i feel so strongly about this but it will be interesting to revisit.

If Fox can hold the edge to contain the Bengals run, it will a big positive.

Don't sleep on the fact that the Bengals OLine has a big improvement this year and they have someone running very effectively.

So I keep reading that the Bengals run game had improved over the last couple of games so I looked-they still are not very good at running the ball. They have 8 games this year running for less than 100 yards and only 1 game this year where they rushed for over 130 yards. Yes they have rushed for over 100 yards the last 3 games, but let’s not make it seem like they are going to run all over the place

" try to play" doesn't sound good. Just sit out until you can play.

Pure speculation on my part, but Kincaid is a legitimate threat when he's in there. More than Hawes and Knox. My thinking is if he plays it plays out one of two ways. 1) He's mainly in there to draw coverage and be a decoy or 2) He gives a legitimate shot at playing and injures himself further.

In either event, it really doesn't seem like the reward outweighs the risk.

Also, completely unrelated. The reasoning  behind user names often fascinates me. So, @17islongenough, does your username reference the drought...or do you have some inside info about Josh Allen?

Gross. Nothing about this is promising.

“try to play”

Just put him on the shelf until he’s a go.

Im beyond over this guy, but he’s our best receiving option this year and we need him for the playoffs, not a game against the Bengals where he plays 10-15 snaps in obvious passing downs praying his body doesn’t give out.

As pathetic as this sounds, I think sitting him out for the rest of the regular season would be the best decision if we’re trying to win a Super Bowl.  I would give us a less than .01% chance to win the SB without him.

Problem is, we might not even make the playoffs without him.
