Joe Ferguson forever Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago 2 minutes ago, leh-nerd skin-erd said: Absolutely, though what was amazing was the scope of the problem and how it snuck up on the medical profession. Just goes to show when you put a profit motive out there it often just comes back to $$$. At the same time though, I’m certain there are more than a few family members of addicts living and dead wishing the doc who got their family members hooked had gotten the blowed up treatment before they ever suggested/prescribed anything. controlled substance prescribing and dispensing is now tracked all over the country. If I saw someone on a controlled substance, I'd ask my nurse to pull the prescribing records from virginia and surrounding states. Many were doctor shopping. and were promptly told to leave. all prescribers should do this. It should be mandated. The would likely be much more effective in reducing OD's than bombing boats. And much cheaper.

Trump_is_Mentally_fit Posted 1 hour ago Author Posted 1 hour ago Throwing the military under the bus here. These pigs don't care about hurting anyone Quote President Donald Trump said Tuesday neither he nor Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth knew about a second strike on a suspected drug vessel in the Caribbean in September, as the administration continues to say that an admiral gave the order. “I didn’t know about the second strike. I didn’t know anything about people. I wasn’t involved, and I knew they took out a boat, but I would say this, they had a strike,” Trump said during a Cabinet meeting. The president said that Hegseth “was satisfied” with the strike but “didn’t know about a second attack, having to do with two people.” Hegseth echoed those comments, telling reporters in the meeting that he “watched the first strike live” but then “moved on to my next meeting.” https://www.cnn.com/world/live-news/trump-ukraine-russia-venezuela-12-02-2025
pennstate10 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Pretty damning article, with quotes from former Air Force secretary and Bush advisor. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/former-air-force-secretary-bradley-would-be-court-martialed-under-normal-circumstances/ar-AA1Rz50C?ocid=hpmsn&cvid=692f437604624609bda5fd717be7003d&ei=75 Since Wolfgang doesnt know how to click on links, I have some key quotes below: "Several other former U.S. government and military leaders have also dubbed the “double tap” attack a violation of the country’s law of war manual. " “Adm. Bradley was reported to have given an excuse, if you will, for the second engagement. That doesn’t hold water. These people were wounded. They were in the water. They were not a threat to anybody. Again, that’s a textbook example of a war crime,” Kendall said Monday. “You can‘t kill survivors who can no longer fight,” John Yoo, who served as an adviser in former President George W. Bush’s administration, said during a Monday appearance on CNN. “So, the admiral should not have obeyed the order that Secretary Hegseth gave. And even the soldiers who carried out the admiral‘s orders should not have obeyed.” "Leavitt alleged the strikes were justified after narcotrafficking groups were deemed foreign terrorist organizations, allowing for “lethal targeting in accordance with the laws of war.” Her comments contradict the U.S.’s war manual, which states “orders to fire upon the shipwrecked would be clearly illegal.” 1

The guy seems to love killing. he told his troops in Iraq to disregard the JAG officers rules of engagement. He would have been there, whooping it up and high diving the other degenerates. 37 minutes ago, BillsFanNC said: teef's business must be absolutely humming! 😂 I'm sure your income is much higher than his 😂. loser. The problem is multi-faceted, but often the doctor shopper was hooked by a trusted medical professional who sold out for the money, or didn’t follow the trends and problems that in retrospect seems pretty obvious. Kudos to the good docs who avoided this whole mess. My dentist and I were speaking about this one day—he had torn an ACL or had some other knee issue, and his doc wrote some obscene amount of pills for pain. Can’t recall dosage but he got something like 25 pills in the prescription. He was stunned…and that was one script, one time long after I as a layman understood there was a problem. In the end, I we likely dealt with the tip of the iceberg worst offenders, and the finger being pointed at pharma gave offending physicians a finger to point away from themselves. 1

I had a patellar tendon implant for an ACL tear about 30 years ago. I don't remember the number of pain pills prescribed but 25 seems reasonable. A bed sheet running over my knee was agonizing for several days, then the pain was only 7/10 for the next week. It was worth it. Can still ski.
