I can thankfully state I have never had anyone close to me die from drugs but I have no issue with elimination of the threat before it reaches us. i truly don't understand the thought process that prioritizes the life of a few foreign drug dealers over the lives of 1000s of relatively innocent Americans.

So you're okay with murder? At least you put it out in the open what kind of trash you are.

The threat was elimaneted, no need for the 2nd strike. You people will stop at nothing to defend Trump. He will be gone in the years if he lives that long. You will not be able to get your integrity back and I will be here to dance on your grave.

you believe it is murder to take out someone who is responsible for hundreds if not thousands of deaths? You and I will always disagree on that.

Why? WHY? Because I care about you. Obviously. I hate what that bad orange man has done to you.

There is no legal logic behind any of this. Most drugs cross the border in vehicles. This is just killing people because it feels good, much like our invasion of Iraq. If Trump was sincere about solving the drug addiction problem, he would be increasing funding to drug addiction treatment and rehab centers.

You cannot attack survivors in the water.  It’s morally reprehensible.

My old drinking buddy passed away a few years ago from fentanyl, leaving a daughter behind...Both my uncles did too.

Personal responsibility is key and so is our border policy. It's obviously an asymmetrical way for Americas political adversaries to weaken and destroy the population. Other darker forces at work too that hate the United States, it's populations autonomy that is not subject to a global financial order. People are obviously waking up.

God bless this administration for being aggressive against the people bringing poison into our country

Yeah? Your buddy just pardoned one of the most prolific drug traffickers in history. Why?

The first strike is one thing. The second is murder. There are laws and standards that separate the US from other 3rd world and dictator countries. It's time we got back to being civilized humans. This is law enforcment. Not war as your hero/lord/dictator you worship claims.

God Luck trying to get your integrity back. I'm glad you are not in the Buffalo area anymore. Keep the scum down in Florida.

The story comes a week after six Democrat Senators and Congressmen, now known as the Seditious Six, posted a video that seemed to encourage members of the armed forces to defy "illegal" orders from President Trump.

The Department of War spokesman, Sean Parnell, denied that the event had occurred.

His deputy, Kinglsey Wilson, affirmed that all lethal strikes on the drug runners are legitimate and based on the designation of the drug cartels as Designated Terrorist Organizations, and a presidential declaration that a "non-international armed conflict" existed between the drug cartels and the United States.

Putting aside the lack of evidence supporting this alleged event and the administration's denial that it even happened, there is a helluva lot of assumptions involved to conclude that this is a war crime.

Properly viewed, this article, with its questionable provenance, is designed to provide cover for the Seditious Six and their fellow travelers so they don't get humiliated like Colorado Democrat Representative Jason Crow (CO-06) when asked for an example of the "illegal" orders they are railing against.

The bottom line here is that no evidence exists that this event happened, or, if it did, that it played out as described. The fact that no other major media outlet has picked up the story is notable. And that the Post's story is essentially a regurgitation of a nearly three-month-old article from loony-left outlet The Intercept is also suspect; see U.S. Attacked Boat Near Venezuela Multiple Times to Kill Survivors. Unless a lot more information comes out making the case that this was a crime, this article should be considered as The Washington Post doing what it always does when there is a Republican in the White House.

I'm not really a massive supporter, although he's better than past figures. He exposed the institutions and legacy media, and for that he's a hero to many. And that alone makes him a positive imho

Hypocrisy is usually par for the course in the game of power and politics

If it's in our national interest, you could call me a hypocrite too. Win first, then you can have an academic conversation over coffee afterwards about the moral dynamics of state power

The men on the boat might not have wanted to be there, maybe the vicious cartels forced them to do it, you don't know. They were simply helpess floating in the water. Murder

The people that died of ODing shouldn't have been breaking the law, doing illegal drugs and creating the demand the drives the drug trade.

You want a war to save criminals??? What's the real reson Trump is starting a war here?

The state engaged as a sovereign for its territorial integrity is a lot different...

As to the moral question of using extreme measures against ppl & other states who are trying to invade & poison the United States which undermines it's sovereignty. Most ppl in the world are going to give the benefit of the doubt to the ppl protecting their homeland.

This doesn't mean there isn't alternative motives, but if it aligns, or gives the appearance of alignment with protecting the homeland, most people are okay with that.

You only think this because you have difficulty understanding and remembering things that get said here. It’s ok. It comes with being hysterical. Roundy and Redhawk can confirm.

What makes it “viciously”?

No one loves Trump more than you. I stop by here for a few post something and ten second later you respond, almost anytime, all the time.

You love Dear Leader

There should be both. Deterrence against the poison entering the United States and helping people recover.

Although most people follow the cultural zeitgeist. If your leaders are degenerate, institutions are corrupt, the people will mirror the same thing.

I will donate $50 to the Democratic National Committee if you can find a post where I demonstrate my love for the bad orange person. Since you believe no one loves Trump more than me, that should be a very easy task.  Added bonus for you is that it
will make me vomit having to spend $50 on Democrats.

is ordering the military to kill survivors of a missile attack, not afforded due process and hanging on boat pieces illegal?  Looks several R senators feel it is.  maybe reminding service members of the right not to follow illegal orders was warranted.
