LA will look mighty fine when Stafford hangs it up. Yeah, her name is Kim Pegula. Quote

Then the chosen group traded away Patrick Mahomes. They got very fortunate with Allen the following year and how gone through a revolving door at offensive coordinator since because his chosen coach can't figure it out. From his perspective Terry got lucky with the football team and is now afraid to touch it. He did everything wrong with the hockey team and has given up. Beane and McDermott have jobs for life. It makes no difference how bad they mess up drafts or how badly they mishandle the talent around Allen. Neither one will be fired. Ever. This is my opinion as well. Honestly, based on what’s happened with the Sabres, I’m kind of scared for him to touch the Bills coach/GM too. Quote

Buffalo often leads the TV ratings on random hockey games in February. Hockey matters to Buffalo, and he has singlehandedly destroyed the team that means so much to the region. Terry is the worst team owner in the big 4 professional sports leagues with the Sabres, and he appears to not really give a sh*t about it. Terry is a coward, who surrounds himself with yes men who protect him at all costs. He doesn’t have any accountability, he never faces the music from anyone. Like you said, Terry is a businessman 1st, who doesn’t define success by Championships but my sustained $$$$ making. Beane and McDermott make him $$$$, they don’t win him championships and he will take that trade off everyday. After all, the “faith, family, football” that Terry, Brandon and Sean live by doesn’t say Championships anywhere, and likely with these three, it never will. Shocking that a businessman wants to make money. I apologize that Sabre fans live in this fantasy world where hockey is still a "big 4" sport in the United States. How can you still think that when its routinely outdrawn and outrated by Nascar, and Wrestling? The NHL is a crap league on the popularity level of the WNBA and College Basketball. Its a sport relegated to rich white kids and Europeans. If I were Terry I wouldn't sink my time or money into it either. Its not worth his time. Owners dont win championships and businessmen arent looking to lose money. Edited 53 minutes ago by thenorthremembers Quote

Correct. It can work when you have other studs. John Brown had Cole Beasley, Davis had Diggs. Even Groot-Jones-Oliver-Bosa is a productive unit for the 15 minutes they are all healthy. Dareus looked his best next to Meatball Hughes next to Super Mario Quote

And yet we're still a playoff level team. You can't have superstars everywhere. Every team has a weak spot somewhere. Quote
