I hated this signing but also like the Palmer signing...therefore I am as good or better than Beane.

Josh will be looking for Davis and cooks a lot. The other target I think we see a lot from Jackson Hawes as well.

Beane and McDemott were not his first hires and if you recall he hired McDermott first then Beane which is highly unusual. Then the chosen group traded away Patrick Mahomes. They got very fortunate with Allen the following year and how gone through a revolving door at offensive coordinator since because his chosen coach can't figure it out. From his perspective Terry got lucky with the football team and is now afraid to touch it. He did everything wrong with the hockey team and has given up.

Beane and McDermott have jobs for life. It makes no difference how bad they mess up drafts or how badly they mishandle the talent around Allen. Neither one will be fired. Ever.

sorry but this ^^^ is true.
not what i or most anyone here wants but simply look at the Bills W - L record at home the last 4-5 years…and the season ticket-PSL sales.

Terry will never ever never ever get rid of McBeane.  The next GM and coach will be post Pegula.

I hate this but I do believe this is the truth. At this point I just want Josh to win one. He deserves it even if it’s not with Buffalo. But once he does leave my stress level will go down as I won’t be watching the NFL anymore lol…thanks Pegula

Every fan knew how Curtis Samuel would play out.

Beane saw it differently.

Hes now likely played his last snap as a Bill.

That's just not true. Most fans were very happy with the Samuel signing.

Andy Reid was not Andy Reid before he got Mahomes

Offensive genius yes. But that he'd be in the GOAT conversation pre Mahomes was laughable

Don't put words in my mouth. I did not say he'd "be in the GOAT conversation." I said exactly "To their credit, the Hunts also hired Andy Reid."

By the way, Andy Reid who you described as an "offensive genius" had a .583 winning percentage exclusively with Philly, which is higher than HOF HCs Jimmy Johnson, Marv Levy, Hank Stram, Don Coryell, Bill Parcells, Chuck Knoll, Dick Vermeil, Tom Flores, Weeb Ewbank and Sid Gillman.

It's also a higher winning percentage than Super Bowl winning HCs Tom Coughlin, Brian Billick, Mike Shanahan, Pete Carroll, Jon Gruden, and Steve Mariucci.

While in Philly, Reid made the playoffs in 9 out of 14 seasons and he led them to 4 NFC Championship games and a Super Bowl appearance.

Is it your opinion that the Hunts should not get credit for hiring Reid?

😂😂Trust me if I was putting words in your mouth I'd make sure they made sense

I'm saying without Mahomes all the Hunts would have hired was a good HC w a history of choking in big games

Still one spot open on the 53 - which i'd assume goes to Tylan Grable.

So long, Curbside Samuel.  We hardly knew thee.  They should kick a few others to the curb, especially the ones made of glass.

What's funny/ironic is when we signed Samuel the overall sentiment was there's our Gabe Davis replacement who people couldn't wait to get rid of.

Hopefully you get your way and Pegula sells both teams.  You wont have to worry about having expectations because professional sports wont exist in Buffalo any longer.

And there it is. Don't dare to criticize Lord Terrence. Without him we'd have no teams at all! How dare we question his wisdom and benevolence!

Like I said, he doesn't know how to do better so he's afraid to try. These guys have carte blanche until Allen retires and Allen will be one of those guys with ridiculous stats and no titles because they wasted him. Oh, by the way, he just hurt his throwing elbow for at least the third time. Will he miss time? No. Does your UCL like that sort of abuse? No. Is it shortening his career every time his elbow gets hurt that way? Yes it is.

And yeah, this team has underachieved and actively got worse this year. The defense is unwatchably bad and the offense is equally horrendous against any team with a semblance of a pass rush. The offensive coordinator  got a vote of confidence mid season when most would have gotten fired and the defensive coordinator is a nepo baby who can't coordinate his way out of a wet paper bag without Sean's help and even with that they still suck. But yeah, they primed this squad for a title run this year. No mismanagement at all. Just a run of bad luck. It'll be fine next year.

And those teams underachieved too and Reids refusal to run the ball and God awful clock management were frequently the problem in big games. He needed to be fired by the end and he fixed some of his issues when he came back. It also helped that Mahomes is better than McNabb. Coincidentally his Eagle teams also grossly underinvested at WR for most of his tenure, then went and got TO and actually made the Super Bowl. Unfortunately for them, TO got hurt and Donovan was barfing on the field.

And though this isn't directed at you, I will also point out the Eagles have won 2 Super Bowls since firing Reid, with two different coaches. The constants have been Howie Roseman and Jeffrey Lurie. Has Beane been able to construct the teams that Roseman has? The Eagles are playing like crap right now and their roster is still better than the Bills. Sirianni was under fire early last year and obviously got it together but they are back off the rails again and people are pissed. He could 100 percent be fired and Roseman wouldnt think twice about it because he's already fired a SB winning coach and replaced him with another SB winner. The change will be made if it needs to be. Meanwhile, in Buffalo, McBeane will go on forever whether they ever win anything important or not.

We gotta stop bringing in like three mid guys every off-season at WR and just take the plunge on a great WR or a very high draft pick. Great players also miss less time.

My sense is Josh needs less interchangeable oft-hurt guys and more dependable players who he can get in rhythm with and trust. What John Brown, Cole Beasley and Stefon Diggs were to him 2019-2022.

No it’s the contract.

$23M for him and Knox this year. Woof

The organization is in free fall…can’t wait to see what these doofuses come up with next year…

Jon Stewart Popcorn GIF

Here’s to hoping Beane does not get close to drafting or signing another player…We need to stop the bleeding while there’s still time to save Allen’s career…

Actually  for you to say "Offensive genius yes. But that he'd be in the GOAT conversation pre Mahomes was laughable" in response to me saying "To their credit, the Hunts also hired Andy Reid"  doesn't make much sense.

You can criticize Andy Reid and Donovan McNabb and Nick Sirianni and McBeane and I wouldn't argue too much though Reid's accomplishments in Philly speak for themselves... but it's sad that while the Chiefs jumped at the opportunity to hire Reid, the Bills were hiring Doug Marrone.

The Bills have the QB. Which is why we went from a bottom 3 embarrassing team in the NFL to a marquee franchise with that QB. And when that QB hangs them up, we will be back to picking top 6-10.

You misunderstood my point.   Hes been a great owner for the Bills.  Look at all the success the team has had including a new stadium which likely keeps the team here even longer.

Meanwhile you seem to hate the guy because despite his success with the football team, youre big mad because they haven't won the Superbowl and the hockey team stinks.   You seem like you'd be happier if they were both sold and moved.   That was my point.

Pegula has given the Bills everything they need to be great.  Thats the extent of what owners can do to win championships.  Not winning a Super Bowl is fully on McDermott, Beane and the players on the field, including Josh Allen.

Again, if you think Pegula is a bad owner, it can only be about the Sabres because hes been great for the Bills.

A lot of guys in Buffalo mad at Terry for not doing more with a hockey team when hockey simply doesnt make him money.     Not sure why its so hard to have an opinion of the guy strictly on the football team?

People want to come on here and call him an idiot.  Who is the bigger idiot the billionaire businessman who wont sink more money into a failing league that has less fans than AEW Wrestling...or the old white guys in the Northeast who still care about the league?

Sabres are part of the equation for judging Terry because I know shocking to you, hockey does mean a lot to Buffalo and Western NY.  Buffalo often leads the TV ratings on random hockey games in February.  Hockey matters to Buffalo, and he has singlehandedly destroyed the team that means so much to the region. Terry is the worst team owner in the big 4 professional sports leagues with the Sabres, and he appears to not really give a sh*t about it.

Terry is a coward, who surrounds himself with yes men who protect him at all costs.  He doesn’t have any accountability, he never faces the music from anyone.  Like you said, Terry is a businessman 1st, who doesn’t define success by Championships but my sustained $$$$ making.  Beane and McDermott make him $$$$, they don’t win him championships and he will take that trade off everyday.  After all, the “faith, family, football” that Terry, Brandon and Sean live by doesn’t say Championships anywhere, and likely with these three, it never will.
