To simplify the Moore stuff - he wanted more targets, an effort to get him involved rather than the tiny role he had.  Not unexpected, it’s the issue with Brady’s offense and I had been saying for weeks stop trying to get every guy on the bench involved, especially splitting reps between Moore and Samuel, pick one and get that guy more involved in the offense.  And that guy should have been Moore over Samuel.

And if it was - then we'd have just released Moore yesterday to make room for Davis instead of earlier in the week for Cooks. Two guys had to go either way to make room for Cooks and Davis.

They do play against them, every day in practice. Probably why McClappy has faith in Brady. "Wow this O is unstoppable every day when we play in the field house, it couldn't possibly be because my defensive scheme works in the NFL about as well as a screen door on a submarine".

What's the metaphorical opposite of iron sharpening iron?

And how many BOLD moves have the chiefs made?

The team that regularly goes to the AFCCG and the Super Bowl and beats their only conference rival every year probably doesn’t need to make a bold move to…. keep going to the Super Bowl.

But maybe they needed to this year.

I will choose to hold out hope for Keon.

Imagine if he comes out & has a big day tomorrow?  It would give all of us renewed optimism for the rest of the season.  It could happen.

Back to how our conversation started, with you insinuating that in order to be lucky, you must be bold.  The chiefs weren’t bold.  They were just lucky to avoid injuries to key players.

the 2 seasons in which they suffered key injuries, they didn’t win the SB.  The OL vs Tampa and Rice vs Philly.  Their last 2 Lombardis were won in seasons where they were anything but bold….yet lucky.

so please don’t tell me that we aren’t lucky because we aren’t bold enough.  If you said that we don’t win super bowls because we aren’t bold enough, that could be true.  But that has nothing to do with a team being lucky or not.
