gtw3 Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago All of the angst that we are feeling on TBD, the Steelers fans feel it on theirs. They're in a division that they had a stranglehold on early. Joe B missed most of the year, Jackson missed time. Now look at where the Steelers are. There is a large contingent of their fans that have wanted their HC gone for years. They're currently using the oldest bridge QB in history with no clear cut future laid out yet. They haven't won a playoff game in years and yet they are "the epitome of a stable and successful NFL organization" They are losing their minds that they have DK but don't pass the ball downfield to him. And all of those great D linemen, haven't really had great seasons (to their standards) so far to this point. Which is why they are saying that us being on our backup linemen wont be an issue. All teams, especially in the AFC, have warts. We have ours, the Steelers definitely have theirs. I am mostly concerned about the state of the playing field. I read it is going to be an absolute mess. 2 Quote
GolfandBills Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Beane needs to go full Rams mode starting next year. Screw the picks just bring in studs. I’m sick of the over valuing picks that he can’t even get right 1 1 1 Quote

Get a GM that actually knows what it means to surround your franchise QB with superbowl talent in the draft and free agency 1 Quote

Bills!Win! Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Remember when the Bengals were down 3 offensive linemen and were going to play in bad conditions? 2 2 Quote
BeastMaster Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago If the field conditions are poor as some suggest they will be, that would favor us in my eyes because it should slow down the pass rush and allow Josh to have more time to operate Quote

letsgoteam Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Sounds like this is a game, I'll wait to watch afterwards to see if they win or not. I'm not (and shouldn't for my mental health) sit through another Houston Texans type cluster... Quote

I'm not (and shouldn't for my mental health) sit through another Houston Texans type cluster... Going to be a tough watch. Don’t think the Steelers are a monster given Watt, Highsmith and Herbig are not playing lights out nor are they playing on the Anderson/Hunter level but without both starting offensive tackles, it might be an extremely tough day. Not saying we don’t have a chance but this is going to be a game they realistically have to execute flawlessly on offense to walk away with a win @ Heinz field. This, to me, is going to showcase whether or not Brady can cut the mustard or should be gone next year. A real litmus test for how he’s able to scheme. 1 Quote

They are #1 in yac and the Bills tackle poorly. I don’t see how sloppy field conditions would favor us Quote

Ravens can afford to lose two more games and still win the division in all likelihood. That's why if the Bengals win their next game, the game against us, they will probably be the favorite to win the division with how easy the rest of their schedule is. Will just come down to beating the Ravens once again. For us it just sucks basically having zero opportunity to win the division. At the same time, we have a better chance of making the playoffs as a whole. Yeah it sucks not winning the division but it sucks more not making the playoffs at all. I’m not sure if a second team comes from that division at all. Quote

Real men would play barefoot. Mack Hollins anyone? Quote
EssexBill Posted 52 minutes ago Posted 52 minutes ago (edited) I want to see us throw downfield to Shakir again, seems like it hardly ever happens now and he’s been marginalized to being the guy who takes the sideways screens and not much else. The catch he made against KC I think last year when he got hammered as soon as he caught it prompting the Jim Nantz blasted in the backside comment, more of that please, he’s able to get open if Brady would just use him better Edited 52 minutes ago by EssexBill Quote

That’s the exact opposite of “Rams mode.” They are where they are because they’ve stacked a TON of draft picks: 24 picks in 2023-24, and have not foolishly pissed away day 2 and 3 picks, the way Beane has.
