Like the fact that they did not live next to the stadium tail gate lots but yet during the tailgating festivities they went in the house to get more hotdogs? 1 Quote
Just Jack Posted November 30, 2025 Posted November 30, 2025 Several people already mentioned things/problems they had with it. I do not think anyone mentioned this one. When Uncle Tommy explains to his die-hard Bills fan niece and the Bills employee how War Memorial Stadium was nicknamed The Rockpile. Seems they would have already known that. Quote
Guns N' Rosen Posted November 30, 2025 Posted November 30, 2025 It was wild to see two former members of The Sopranos in this I kept waiting for Ralphie to do something psychotic (he was the 2nd most evil character in the series IMO) 1 Quote

Metal Man Posted December 2, 2025 Posted December 2, 2025 Someone mentioned at the start of the thread that Pinto Ron was supposed to have a cameo? Was that accurate? I didn't see him but I am assuming there were cameos or easter eggs that I missed but I'm not sure I could watch that again. Quote

I'm not sure if he was in any other shots. 1 Quote

GASabresIUFan Posted December 2, 2025 Posted December 2, 2025 The 33 jersey was not an error. It’s a Colt Anderson jersey. He played for us two years from 2016-2017. Depth DB. The jersey was probably in a box in the basement of Highmark of merchandise the Bills store couldn’t sell so they gave it to the producers to use in the movie. 1 1 Quote

RochesterLifer Posted December 4, 2025 Posted December 4, 2025 I watched it last week with local (Mississippi) friends. They know nothing about NYS, but humor me by rooting for the Bills. About ten minutes in, I asked them to press pause and explained to them that (at that point) the whole family conversation and accent seemed downstate. The accents and aggressive talking style felt more like Long Island than Western NY. I shared with them, "That's not who we are, and it's not how we talk." The movie then began to reflect more and more of a Western NY vibe. 1 1 Quote
SF Bills Fan Posted December 4, 2025 Posted December 4, 2025 I have it DVR'd and watching it seems like I am degrading my principles somehow. I would never watch anything on Hallmark in a million years. Or a sappy love movie no matter what channel. It's like an Iron Maiden fan going to a Winger concert. But, at some point I'll press play. Maybe this weekend after I had a few beers. I need to see how badly they mess up their take on the Bills fandom. It will be interesting to see how WNY looks with the stadium etc. But, I will not like it. Quote
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted December 4, 2025 Posted December 4, 2025 I watched it a few days ago and it was great!! Loved the player cameos. Quote

The best performance by a real life Bills player or coach goes to ... McD. His scene was remarkably un-cringey. The rest? Mega-cringe. 1 Quote
zow2 Posted December 5, 2025 Posted December 5, 2025 My mom had us all watch it after Thanksgiving. A bit cringy for me. The love story aspect, all the Bills cameos, and McD. Just bizarro. I was just trying to imagine anyone else out there in the country who enjoyed it who is not from WNY or a Bills fan. Quote
