his zero catches on the year would be great.  He could stand next to samuel and ed oliver on the sideline during the games and talk about all the stuff they are going to buy with their money.

And? People act like his guaranteed salary being voided makes him poor and it's irresponsible to do some shopping.

 

He was a 1st Round Pick. From 2020-2024, he made 12.5 million dollars. And that doesn't take into account any side money through advertising, personal appearances, signings, jersey sales, his own merchandise, etc. 

 

When he's released or traded, he'll make even more millions. That's a guarantee. Spending big money on jewelry is something most players do. Hell, Keon Coleman had some crazy bling he was showing off Post Game in Week 1 and he's nowhere near the position to do that as Aiyuk is.

 

This is nothing and would in no way make me think "character concerns - we shouldn't sign him". If we didn't Draft or sign players bc they splurge on jewelry - we wouldn't be able to field a team.

I’m pretty done caring about the player’s character, for the most part.

I'm definitely a huge advocate of bringing in a #1 WR but this guy has Antonio Brown type of vibes all over him. I wouldn't complain if they brought him in but I still wouldn't feel great if he was the only WR we brought in either.

To put it another way on how desperate we are:

 

The bar is definitely reaching close to closing time. And that 4 foot tall brunette that goes about 350...well she's not that bad. Her mustache matches her beard really well. And she has a great personality....
